My OH was a black cab driver, we dressed his cab up every year to take handicapped kids and adults to Blackpool for the day out. Saville, because of his fame, was allowed to lead the procession for years, he would disappear as soon as we got to Blackpool.

I actually dread to think where, or if he took any of those kids with him for a 'treat'.

 Me too.  He was a predator and no one saw it?  Surely they did but were threatened by his thugs.  I never watched it, but I wish he was outed before death.  Thing is as you say, he knew too much about people, especially those in the higher realms.

Yes John Lydon had the guts to speak out, and suffered because of it.  If only other tv companies listened and followed up on this, he might have got caught before he died!

 I've always liked John Lydon.   I love his forthright no bullshit take no prisoners attitude.   I think he's one of the most sincere people in show biz.    A man who married a woman 15 years his senior, never cheated on her and nursed her through dementia.

He seems a lot better now than what he used to be.

I think the licence fee should be done away with and we shouldn't be forced to pay this organisation each year.

 I remember him from I'm a celebrity, the Sex Pistols were before my time.

He came across well on the show, not like some of the two faced gits you get on it.

I think the licence fee should be done away with and we shouldn't be forced to pay this organisation each year.

 

 So do I, I really resent paying the bent bastards to shower MY money on overpaid, entitled idiots.

 

This year, I decided to withhold payment for as long as possible. When I got the final letter saying my house was under watch (or some similar phrase obviously meant as a threat) I did eventually pay.

It felt good to make them wait for months though. nod

The third episode of Saville was on last night, it is really sickly to watch him and the way he manipulated people.
The BBC are doing a good job of rewriting history as far as their involvement goes.

I am glad that Saville 4 part drama has finished, it was really hard to watch.
Had it been commissioned by anyone else than the BBC, I'm sure it would have been more accurate, but it did show what a disgusting human being he was.

Hopefully he was religious, if so, he would have died filled with self disgust and guilt...one consolation I suppose.

 It touched on that. How the hell he had full run of the hospitals, including keys to the morgues is unbelievable, but he did.
