I may have a new girlfriend.

You are a very fickle man.

Were I not a happily married woman of a certain age....I think this man would make me a very nice husband. The face, the words, the energy, the voice... the full package.

 😬

Sounds like Barry Manilow or something along those lines..

Or maybe a song from the soundtrack of "The Notebook". Not that I've ever seen that movie..

He writes all his own material based on his own life...listen to a few of his songs, nothing like Manilow or Buble.

I think even a big butch man like you would be moved by 'The Notebook', even my OH shed a tear at the end. cry

Nothing better than driving around, roof off or windows wide open, pick a coastal road (do you have any near you?) and play some of his tracks. happy

No coast near me. Texas has hundreds of miles of coast but not where I live.

I tried listening to his stuff. Its just too poppy for me..

He does have a unique voice that's not exactly mainstream. He just needs to cone hang out with Willie for a few days in Austin and work on his craft. 😉

I agree, his poppy stuff is a bit too poppy, I prefer the songs he writes that are full of angst, that's when ihs voice takes on a raspier sound.

Willie has had decades more to work on his vocals, I love his version of this song.

That's because he knew you'd start talking again and that two hours and one minute it ran for was pure bliss for him.
