Suella Braverman has been sacked.

"Suella Braverman has broken her silence after being dramatically fired as home secretary following days of mounting pressure.

The former top minister has said it had been the “greatest privilege of my life to serve as home secretary”.

In an ominous statement for Rishi Sunak, she added: “I will have more to say in due course.”

Mr Sunak had faced days of calls to sack Ms Braverman after an incendiary op-ed last Wednesday in which she attacked the police as biased toward pro-Palestine protesters.

That followed her prompting outrage by vowing a crackdown on tents used by the homeless and describing rough sleeping as a “lifestyle choice”.

Calls intensified after her condemnation of pro-Palestine demonstrations as “hate marches” was blamed for far-right thugs descending on London and disrupting Armistice Day."

So was she right to speak and publish her opinions, or should she have followed her leader's orders to keep the more controversial ones to herself, and follow the party line?

Seeing as everyone keeps banging on about free speech, including the right to protest in public, then yes.

I was on the fence a bit at first. I thought she was fanning the flames and causing more trouble, which her remarks possibly did.

But seeing the way 300,000 people were happy to walk alongside the many who were shouting for the genocide of the Jewish people, unhindered by the police who seemed to only concentrate on the alternative groups behaviour, I think she was right.

This is Great Britain, not Nazi Germany.

I liked Suella, she says it as it is and gets sacked for it. Snake Rishi put Cameron back in aswell. The man who left office leaving us without a PM! I detest Rishi! I will never vote Conservative again, ever!

A bit late, they don't exist now anyway.

I see in this latest shuffle, quitter David Cameron has been roped back in.

The Tories are really floundering now, such a pity the labour leader is such a wimp with his faux expressions of sympathy for the ones who have been dragged down by the last 13 years of Tory rule.

That letter of hers seems a final swoop to Rishi's balls...or lack of them.
