SF seems to remember me so is clearly someone who has been about for quite a while in a different (or several different) incarnations.

I don't think that 'boycott' lasted longer than a few days. Micky was the architect of nearly all his woes. Someone made the point that he was probably suffering from depression, and in retrospect that was probably right. He banned left right and centre for a short while and treated everyone like kids which is what I think kicked off the boycott. I guess it was his way of trying to maintain some control when his personal life was totally out of control.

I do remember that Henry wrote a long post about why he was closing/leaving the forum.

I think I left FFL and went back to FH when that was going on.

Micky was a pain, no doubt about that, but he had problems, and I agree, he used his forum to try to wield control over people because he had little in the real world.

What I found really horrible about that ridiculous boycott, was the school yard,bullying mentality that everyone should go along with it...and a few did.

It failed, in fact, Mickys forum came out all the better for it in the end.

In any case, this happened ten years ago, people have either moved on or have disappeared off forums altogether.

The odd one is hanging around using various names, making bullets...just like SF is doing and has done since he joined.
