What I found really horrible about that ridiculous boycott, was the school yard,bullying mentality that everyone should go along with it...and a few did.

It failed, in fact, Mickys forum came out all the better for it in the end.lol

 

 

 

 

 Most of us were cheesed off with him to the point that we probably wouldn't have posted anyway for a while.  I know I used to take a short hiatus from forums because you'd get jaded very quickly and need a break from it.  They can become very unhealthy if you let them dominate your life. 

Micky seemed to set himself up again and again in those situations from his "Starting Next Monday" jobs to his gormless running of FH. 

Didn't he get the heave ho from DT?  DT was at the end of his tether with Micky as I recall.  And he was very unwell.

I took a few hiatuses from his various forums. lol

I don't know what happened between him and DT, I know DT and JL put up with loads from him, not only on forums either.

One thing for sure though, Micky was a character,  and his forums were a good laugh... most of the time.

After the Mirror closed, he vowed to get another forum going, and he succeeded for quite a few years.

 DT got too sick to be able to deal with it all, he was in and out of hospital with infection after infection.

 

JL basically took over making the decisions which is why trop ended up in there as admin.

 Was it ten years ago?   It feels like 20 years ago.  

As I remember we all went back to FH after a few days and Dean was disgusted with us. lol

I have been on them less than 17 years, it feels like a lifetime.
