Just reread this thread...I actually do believe Henry/Az has died....not sure why, just a gut feeling.

I actually got on OK with him till his true persona (or one of them) came out.

I also think Major Starbald may have passed...also Original Quill (NF poster) sad that so many may have joined the big forum in the sky.

Ahhh...BD, he was ill years ago wasn't he, sad, I wonder what happened to his dogs?

Also Letitbe...she adored her dogs. I do know they were taken care of after she died, I think it was her sister who took them.

The following are my experiences and my personal thoughts and opinion as I remember them:

I liked the Major he always seemed to be compassionate and thoughtful behind his comments with a concern for this country heading into oblivion - but he was treated as a racist far right by those in charge of that place.  However he never seemed to rise to the abuse he would get and remained calm and consistent.   Some thought he was on a wind up but I don't think so.  I had some experience with Az - but i gave up with him after I realized he was a spiteful arrogant individual and antiSemite to boot (not overtly but in a sly way to anger whomever he was in discussion with and who he disagreed with).  Not long after that he disappeared and the management of that place said they were not allowing anyone to talk about him as he was taking a break for personal reasons.  I eventually stopped visiting that place after Digital Spy closed down their Politics and General Issues subsections on their website.

BD couldn't have been that old when he died.

I know he was ten years older than me so the most he could have been was sixty.

I think, for me, Yankee dying, was the first time I felt sad that someone I only knew from forum land, had passed away.

Back in the day, Yankee, DT, June, Mags and me, modded on Micky's forum...and believe it or not, it was that busy multiple mods were needed.

Yankee did the night shifts, June took a low profile, DT was usually out when trouble started, lolMicky was often the one who started the trouble in the first place, and Mags and I did most of the modding.

Mags was always a lot more patient than I was, and she stuck it for a lot longer too.

Fun times though.

Aww I forgot about lovely Yanx, I was gutted when she died.  She was a great laugh.  We had fun modding on Freshers.

I modded on all Mickys forums before Freshers.

It was one of the cousins I had a dance with up Bethnal Green in the 70s.

Give me a ring in a field made out of a few bales of straw and I’ll still have a decent dance with anyone if they’re up for it.  Surrounded by jeering travellers normally.

Yes, she let.me know she was dying, I was very upset.  I didn't put.it out because it was private.  I have now time because time has elapsed, and some would like to know.
