The fact he had been involved in shifting Brinx mat gold allowed him to have some kudos still with the younger crims but his reputation was done.

Road rage is common here, it doesn't cause many deaths, but it causes a lot of grief.

There must be something about being cocooned in a metal box that brings out the worst in (mostly) males. It seems the man in the OP was stabbed to death after an altercation at the traffic lights....no gun needed.

Some time ago I remember reading in Private Eye in their weird news section of a group of Russians drinking vodka talking about who was the toughest. One of them said watch this. He then powered up his chainsaw, swung it around and cut his own head clean off.

My comment about pulling teeth out with pliers? My ex husband's grandad did just that, for a bet on the Dock Road in Liverpool. He as a hard as nails Irishman who would bare fist fight for money. His wife would make a huge pot of stew for their evening meal and then use the same pot to make porridge in the morning. My ex's dad said there were always bones in the porridge

Terrible state of affairs. But then again, you must look after your teeth. Sadly, parenting can be that piss poor these days that even kids are ending up with extractions and rotten pegs.
