I am convinced there are far more nice people in this world than not.
I didn't know that both Paul McCartney and Billy Joel, when in concert, leave the first front two rows seats of the venue free. It's so their own staff can go to the cheaper seats, speak to the real fans, then escort some lucky ones to the best front row seats.
Not only does it give those fans a show to remember, it also stops ticket touts buying up good seats and selling them at ridiculous prices.

Yes.that's a great thing to do by two of the best musicians in the business.
Some people are so kind. They give and don't ask for anything in return. Good people.

Yep, and they do it without fuss.
I read that George Micheal gave so much to various charities and gòod causes. It was only known after he died and other people spoke out.

Yes I read that, he wanted no one to know, how caring and kind. To give time, money, help and care to others for no reward is a great thing to do. I think they must feel so good inside for their kind deeds.

He was truly a lovely man. I was gutted when he died. He was so sad and lonely too, and had so much bad luck with his loved ones.

I do think the majority of people are good and kind. But we live in times where all the focus seems to be on the bad. There are some truly monstrous people out there. I don't know where that level of cruelty comes from sometimes. It's not human.
THis breaks my heart. How can human beings bring another sentient creature so low? This poor little dog was 6 months old and wouldn't even come out of his corner or look at anyone. Happily he recovered and is now in his happy forever home.

How can people do this? It's inconceivable to me.
I've seen this and worse on you tube, I could swing for these vile creatures who hurt animals like this. 😠
Two of the nicest people I have met.
Me and OH were coming home from Wales, windy country road, dusk approaching, we got a puncture, a bad one.
Our car only had one of those temporary repair kits, but it was no use, we had no phone signal, and by now it was getting dark.
Two Welsh men who were delivering gas bottles locally stopped, they asked if they could be of help, they were so kind.
Their network managed to get a tenuous signal, one phoned his wife, asked her to phone the AA, and explain the problem, which she did, got back in touch and said someone would come out to help.
One of them said to me "Don't worry, we wont leave till they get here", and true to his word, they stayed with us till the AA arrived.
They brushed off any offers of payment for their help, and went on their way.

Alan and Damion from Smiths coalyard by any chance?

I don't know Jack, could have been.
We were on the windy roads out of Barmouth, and they covered all that area.
