A man was charged for breaking the restraining order that was in place because he wouldn't drop his two weans at the end of his ex-wife street.

Insisted on dropping them at the gate.

They were teenagers, not toddlers.

Some are whinging now doing exams in person and not online is distressing them too much!!

Same with sports days, some schools took out the competing element, because losing was too traumatic.bored

A local school cancelled their sports day a couple of years ago...because it was raining.

Losing is good...it prepares kids mentally, no one goes through life winning at everything they try...and a rain shower never hurt anyone either.

 Raining??

I can mind going cross country running when it was pouring down and each year our house went head to head with the other house on sports day.

It was great and young people today are missing out.

Competitive sports were always encouraged at our school...and most of us loved them.

When I was 13, the mixed school I attended was changed into an all-girls school, and the boys moved to a build next door. Come sports days the girls even competed against the boys....and we all loved that.

I actually won the lads at Discus throwing....which we all found hilarious, but I always came second at high jump, because the girl who won every year was much better.

Winning and losing was accepted with no hurt feelings.....though maybe the lad who lost out to the discus medal was a bit put out. lol
