I "met" him on Digital Spy.  He created interesting science based threads under General Discussion.  As I am experienced in science research and teaching I appreciated his efforts.   People used to make claims about him but I ignored them because I judge only on what I see and he was always reasonable and courteous.  I don't meddle into the affairs of consenting adults, don't get involved in he said / she said gossip - only if I feel I can mediate (not taking sides).   How can anyone know what goes on between consenting adults when they fall out?  Anyway I never saw that activity on DS - just the efforts to promote science discussion.

With regard the events on this thread.  I have had experience with people that take to drink, people that are depressed, people that are suicidal, people that have major mood swings.   What I will say is one should never give up if one is truly concerned, develop a thick skin, drop any insulted pride one might feel in their responses.   Sometimes they just want to be heard.  Conversation is like water it flows under the bridge.

I don't know what happened here but allowing posts from anonymous that are attacking the person in question might result in outbursts directed at the person that allowed the post to be posted.

 You were here for a good few years and myself and Syl bent over backwards to try and help you.  Every member on here did the same to try to support you. There are some of us that actually sat and worried about your wellbeing and safety, particularly when you left home.   So it's an insult to everyone on this forum when you say nobody cares.   You've been offered counselling and professional help, yet you've been repeating the same self pitying refrain for years, across several forums but you still  won't help yourself.  You're an alcoholic and won't be helped and won't stop drinking.   And I personally believe you can be very economical with the truth.   I've been brutally truthful with you from the get go, and will continue to do so if you persist in guest posting your victim mentality on here.  

We even scoured the internet for you to get you links for help for your drinking and your situation.  But you did nothing.  It was to Tina's credit she took you in, but even that wasn't enough, you bad mouthed her on here.  I know she was a drinker too, and being the intelligent person that I know you are, did you ever once think that two alcoholics living together might be  the worst thing either of you could do to each other?      Don't forget, she sent posts on here that never hit the board because myself and Syl were protecting you.  So we know what was going down, the merry go round of ups and downs the two of you were experiencing - the toxic brew you both stewed in because of the drink.

You got banned here because you upset Syl with a drunken post that was insulting and disgusting.  Doesn't matter how much you apologise or try to blame being hacked.   You got banned because I'm sick to death of your self indulgent whining and contradictory statements while refusing to do fuck all to help yourself.   

You've been through hard times, lost your parents etc.  We get that.  And most of us have gone through similar as you well know.  But the bottom line is you are an alcoholic.  And your life will not improve until you acknowledge that, and get help and stop drinking.  That's your reality.   The fact that you're still banging on about some random on a forum from years ago, tells me that you need some serious professional help.  Go get it.
