In Germany Easter has been taken over by Ramadan. Lights switched on here by Khan. No recognising of Easter, no Christian films.
Sadly this will be the norm in Britain and Europe as more and more muslims invade us.
See, this where misinformation and prejudice is dangerous.
I’m in southern Germany right now, since Thursday. Easter is being actively celebrated in the churches. Shops are shut. People are dressing up in traditional costume. Children have helium balloons with verses of the bible printed on them.
Take your small minded prejudice and shove it up your arse
You may be in Germany (who knows) Magica lives in London.
People are complaining that in the capital city of the UK, which is a Christian country, the religious festival of Easter has been ignored by the Mayor of London, in favour of a religious none Christian festival.
They have a point...which they are making without insulting people of a different viewpoint.
Why not try that sometime?
But Magica was speaking about Germany where she doesn't live and was corrected by someone who says they live there.
It reminds me of those who are always saying Christmas has been cancelled and why do we have to say happy holidays etc. its all rubbish.
As someone else said, we are no longer a religious country, we are a consumer country we have allowed manufactures take over anything good we had and make money from it. But then we blame other cultures for not letting that happen to their own religion. Put the blame where is should go and don't fall for the tricks to divide us
I can say I live in Timbucktoo...doesn't mean I do though.
That was not the point though, the point was that Magica said something that was true ( come on you must know its not true?) and when someone else pointed it out, was told she was talking abbot London where she lives when she clearly said Germany.

Eh? I said in Germany, because that's what I read online! I live in London. Satisfied?

OMG. I was pointing out that the post where someone said you live in London and was talking about London was wrong as you said Germany. And yes the fact was also wrong. Don't believe everything you read or at least don't just repeat it without looking into it
Every year we get told the same old BS. If you want a religious Eater or Christmas then go to church and you will find it. I find Germany to have a more traditional Christmas than we do, also amazing Christmas markets.
Anyway I hope you all had the most wonderful easter and are now enjoying warmer weather and the lighter days.

Germany's Christmas Markets are renowned. I always wanted to go, I know a few who have though, they loved it.
