 I've never heard of it.

Are any of them red nosed?

Maybe Netflix will be red-faced when the truth comes out.

It's really worth watching, and the aftermath that's emerging right now is just as riveting.

 Is she though??

Netflix  claimed before every episode that this is a true story. The woman was easily identified and outed in the media.

She denies most of what Richard Gadd says, (he who wrote this and also stars in it as her victim) so far Netflix haven't come up with any proof that his story is in fact true.

According to a few online, she has done it before.

But...she says she has never admitted to any crime, never been charged, and has never been to prison.

She claims she has had death threats since the programme was shown on Netflix, and she has lawyers working on her case now.

She is even threatening to sue Piers Morgan after he did an interview with her, even though he gave her the chance to give her version of what happened.

No she didn't go to prison, the series was wrong to say shev was.

Apparently she's stalking others now.  Be interesting to see what happens and the truth of this.

I don't trust that Gadd fella, I think he used her.  She's obviously not all the ticket though.

I don't think either of them are stable.
I think he was that drugged up at the time his recall is probably skewed.
I don't believe her, when she was interviewed by Morgan, she came across as a very clever liar.

I think she's a very capable liar tbh. I agree, he was on drugs and his.memory wouldn't be accurate.I

They said they made the woman Martha completely different to her true likeness. In fact the actress looked just like her.

I might watch it.  I don't generally like stalking movies or programmes.  I find them disturbing.

I watched that interview and thought the same.  She was in denial from start to finish and came across as the stalking nasty nutter he said she was.

This one is worth watching, though be warned, it is disturbing.

More so because it was advertised as being a true story, which is now being contested.

Think Kathy Bates character in Misery...and magnify it, that was how this woman acted.

Also, because in this day of the internet sleuth, the characters portrayed could be so easily identified, as 'Martha' was.

One man has also been wrongly identified as the man who groomed and raped the lead character.
A lot of the content in the film, not to mention the way the actor resembled the man, pointed to him being the rapist.

It has been denied by him and the production team.

I've started watching it. He's so bloody annoying though, what a weak drip he is. And every hole's a goal. Ugh.

He is a drip....and you probably haven't got up to the part where she sexually assaults him, and he cries.

Im glad i don't have Netflix.

I'm tired of watching men act like weaklings.

This whole "toxic male" shit has ruined a lot of men. Thankfully, there is now a push back, especially from women.

A lot of them have decided they want their men back acting like men.

And the ones that dont have blue hair, nose rings and are miserable to be around anyway..

Digger and I joined Mumsnet a few years ago...we didn't last long.

The majority of the women who posted were strident feminists, the kind who were insulted if a man dared to open a door for them or offer them a seat.

They didn't seem to realise that equality didn't mean that females had to be as butch as men. Some men seemed to buy into that, adopting a 'weaker' role....they probably had no choice with some of the ball-busters on Mumsnet. scruffy

Binge-watched it a couple of days ago, Syl. Yeah, it was compelling in a ‘couldn’t look away’ way. But, honestly? Probably one of the most depressing shows I’ve ever sat through.

She‘s a head case, obviously. And he’s a mediocre, instantly forgettable guy, who’s genuinely baffled that the world can’t see how special he thinks he is. Delusional, ego-driven folks like him are ten a penny, really. Loads go on to be SM ‘influencers’bored

Liked his Mum & Dad, but don’t even get me started on the groomer guy…snooty

Darrien (Tom Goodman-Hill) first befriends, then grooms and ultimately abuses Donny.

'Martha' has had most of the publicity...the male groomer, who was wrongly named to be a top producer, who has actually worked with Gadd, has yet to be positively named.

I'm sure he will be eventually, it certainly didn't take online sleuths long to find the real life Martha.

Have you watched the Piers Morgan interview with Fiona Harvey? It's as riveting as the series.

Piers Morgan and Fiona Harvey before appearing on Morgan's Uncensored show.
