I think this lady was a fraud who made one lucky guess. .Even broken clocks are right twice a day.

If she had real insight why the need for parlour games and fake props?  Her knowing about the ship is I interesting though.

Genuine psychic mediums don't need tricks.  They tune in like a telephone, as.it comes from spirit.

I agree. But it was an easy unscrupulous way to make quick money back then. I have seen photos of levitating tables and wonder how they did it!

As it was a very long time ago the photos are blurry and black and white. I do wonder how fake mediums  managed to make a table hover in mid air without her stunned guests noticing how she's manipulating it !!lol

Fingers under the table, or sure attached.  So easy to fool people.  Give real mediums a bad name😡

Derren Brown videos are well worth a watch. The mind is a malleable wonder.

He hates the fakes as much as we do.

It's funny you say that because it's a Derren Brown book I saw the pictures in! cheer3

I don't know how he does what he does but he isn't psychic or cold reading..however he made it clear it wasn't true insight but extremely clever trickery. At least he's honest.

I used to love his programmes, people must give away cues about themselves when they talk to people who know what to look for. He was very talented, hasn't been on tele for years now though.

Sorry to respond to such an old post but this thread is my sort of thing  and I'm going through it from the beginning. I missed it somehow when I joined bored

I have posted before I think cats and dogs can sense thinks humans can't including undiagnosed diseases and as lovely Oscar here shows, they even know when someone is about to pass. I like to think he didn't want them to be alone.

Knowing Oscar 's reputation I doubt residents would always be too pleased to see him though..!  sad

Ayatollah Khomeini, the founding leader of the Islamist Regime in Iran, once said: “Virgin female prisoners should be raped before execution so that they do not go to heaven.”

Well, what a nice chap he is. Digs ,you said Bonnie Blue was all that is wrong with the world and whilst I don't share your view I certainly respect it.  Maybe more applicable to the West though where everything is about sex and faith and spirituality have been abandoned. This man may consider himself religious but imo he is the epitome of evil .

It's like the Western World has lost its spirituality and is so consumed with physical appearance , celebrity and things that really don't matter. Whilst I think it's admirable those in the East continue to adhere tirelessly to their faith men there are just as corrupt as the West but in a totally contrasting way. Islam has been twisted to suit men's need to control women as shown by this devastating post.

What had these virgin ladies done that they deserved death in any event? Islamic men do not follow the true teachings of the Qur'an, they play God with people's lives. If their God does exist I wonder what awaits them.
