Boris Johnson was a disaster.    Got voted in on a Brexit ticket then proceeded to economically destroy Britain by funding an overseas war and starting massive trade sanctions against nations that Britain was dependent upon for cheap oil, gas, grain ...

I'm not sure who's country has worse choices.

Is it my age, my skepticism of people and their motives, or are the people rising to the top of politics getting worse?

The Conservatives are facing their worst election result in their 200 year history and Rishi Sunak could become the first Prime Minister to ever lose his seat.

I don't think that's beyond the realms of possibility in todays world.
Starmer is a self confessed WEF disciple.
He says he prefers it to Westminster where our elected officials sit but sod democracy.
DAVOS and WEF are all about billionaires shaping the world to fit them and theirs.
Starmer has sold out to the mill owners in a way unimaginable not so long go.
Unimaginable still to many.

I have a feeling the Tories are going to win.
It's looking like the population is frightened in all the confusion sown by our elites of any kind of change but which ever way you vote massive changes are coming!

Labour are going to have the biggest majority for over a hundred years.   They could literally pass any law through the House of Commons.  They could start any overseas war they wanted, fund any overseas war they wanted, start printing money to see inflation go even higher, they could shut down all the oil fired power stations, they could raise taxes sky high, they could nationalize any industry they wanted, they could sell off publicly owned industries, services, property.   They could sell off green land to property developers.   They could introduce a blasphemy law, they could introduce fix quotas in the public and private sector to fully diversify employment, they could introduce a recompensation tax for Britains colonial past ...  Labour will provide both the government and the opposition.    There are going to be many new Labour MPs who are activists - whether pro-Palestinian, pro LGBTQ+, radical feminist.

When folks are ready for a change, it will change.

Look at France yesterday. It's a swing in the other direction, but a pretty significant change.

And then there's the US..........
