… sorry, I’m intrigued by this thread. So just to add…

If by ‘denial of service attacks’, Rolly’s saying Az is trying to tank Dogs and ‘making it inaccessible to its intended users, by flooding the target with traffic’, I ain’t buying it.

That’s pretty much been covered by CJ and raving Raven’s endless Tourettes spamming of the place nod People have left in droves! r4h

Vam I never mentioned dogs but it's probably a target.

This place too but having IP'S individuals can quite easily these days be targeted in a way

that can stop you getting on certain sites.

It's caused by dropping a certain piece of software temporarily from your router....I think I have that right.

He will have noted IP's from his mod days and those IP's give enough information all this time later to use blocks of them in that range.

My eyes glaze over when it comes to overly-tech stuff. My brain just wont ‘compute’! wink

Fair enough though - you do seem pretty sure of what you’re saying. My question is, have you actually seen ‘denial of service’ attempts on various websites? Not asking you to name any specific sites if you’d rather not, obviously. But what makes you so sure it’s Az doing it, and not some other random nutjob?

I've been under DOS attacks for about a week now.

I'm stopped from coming on here and on dogs the rest of the internet is perfectly accessible.

I know a simple way around that situation.

I can't say anymore.

Strange stuff going on here. First we had Dean hacking someone's account from a lost phone, now someone else's account is being attacked by a deceased ex-forum member. Gosh!

If you keep your password safe, and  don't let anyone have access to your phone/tablet/laptop if your details are on there....no poster with a grudge can hack into anyones account.

I am the least techie person going, but I keep my private info private.
