I hate the idea of the three lions. Lions are not native to England and should not be used to represent England. The Colonial English used to hunt lions and other large animals in Africa and India so I find it in poor taste. Wolves and bears were hunted to extinction and so cannot be used to represent England. So how about the Three Badgers? Let's take some pride in the English Badger rather than poisoning them for the misplaced fear of them spreading Bovine Tuberculosis.

It began with Richard the Lionheart. Actually before that.

They are not extinct! Oh so just English hunted them, and animals? you forgot Africans,Portuguese, Spanish, Americans, Irish, etc.

I'm against hunting, but put the blame where it is deserved, not just at England's door!

Thanks V. Tbh I was sick of the media hype. I think this puts pressure on the players.

If we had won, Southgate would have been knighted ridiculous for just managing a team. The players probably OBE's or winning players of the year, and a Bank Holiday. All well over the top imo.

Now Southgate will be made to go and new players picked.

The FA tried to get Alex Ferguson at one time but he said no because he's Scottish.

It's a thankless task being England manager.

Our manager is doing okay at the moment, gawd knows how he's managed it!!
