The answer my friend.... four words and a billion people would instantly finish it off with... is blowing in the wind... that's what I call memorable lines.

Sorry, Rolly … really not getting what the problem is with the thread title
Surely people are much more likely to recall the ‘most memorable lines in songs/films’ that resonate with them on a personal level? And so that’s what folks here (inc. me) have been posting.

The one and only Cilla!

‘The one and only’ is exactly how she viewed herself! Talk about ‘regal’ delusions of grandeur! And the made-for-tv Liverpudlian accent was fake as fuck, btw
She had a villa about 10 minutes away from me, and I used to see her at local restaurants from time to time. Man, I could spill some tea on ‘ooor Cill’, gawd rest her soul! (But I don't want Rolly to yell at me for going off-topic )

No, but that's what 99% of the people thought.
Was it Cher?
It was... and Dionne Warwick was really annoyed about that.
We saw her a few years ago in concert (when she could still sing) and she moaned a lot about how the songs she recorded were always hits for others...she especially hated Cilla for ripping off her exact version of 'Anyone who had a heart'....and getting the big hit with it.
You feed your addiction
With your crystal meth
And I plea for your life
As it takes you to your death
You make your deal with the devil
As your looks begin to fade
I saw you laughin' through the tears
As you slowly slipped away
I watched you go
I thought you should know
Yeah I watched you go
I thought you should know
That cold rain is pourin'
As they lay you in a grave
I can barely recognize you
In your fragile state
No more signs of depression
From a long time ago
I throw in a pretty flower
As they slowly laid you low, it was a rose
I thought you should know
