I stopped using public transport years ago.

I have this knack for attracting people who would bore the arse off you.

I often spent journeys listening to someone health problems etc.

 lol

I know exactly what you mean Vita....some people just seem to attract others, usually nutters.

I must have a blue light over my head, they zoom in even in shops scratch

I once had some woman sit next to me on the bus wearing this coat with big hairy collar that was soaking wet like an old collie.   She leaned heavily on me for the whole journey.   I was only about 17 at the time and wouldn't have said boo to a goose.   Now, I'd have given her a right gobful.

Men on buses were always a nightmare to young women.
They would spread their legs out so their thigh was rubbing against yours....I know they have more going on between their legs than women, but there was no need to spread so liberally. ragga

I have a gift of a look I guess.

The nutters know I'm bigger than them, and might be crazier.

That's one aspect of male toxicity I hate.   I can't tell you how many times I had to navigate my way around assorted perverts and lechers from a very young age.  I remember when I was about 9 or 10  and this man followed me around Woolworths, and each time I stopped to look at something he pressed himself against me.   In the end I ran out of the shop.   Then another time when I was 12, I took my little brother to the cinema, some matinee cartoon, and the place was only half full but this guy came and sat right next to me and stared at me relentlessly  while he touched himself.  At that age I was more clued up and felt really awkward but was too scared to confront him let alone move, and my little bro was only four or five.  At the intermission I ran to the toilets and hid, then when the lights went down we crept out again and sat somewhere else.    I could see this pervert roaming up and down the aisles looking for me, so  I crouched right down in the seat and he didn't see us.  In those days the cinemas were almost pitch black.

Oh for a time machine.   I'd go back and kick his balls black and blue!

Cinemas seemed to attract perverts. To target kids is beyond disgusting.

One of my first jobs was working at the Odeon in Oxford Street. I would take my breaks and sometimes watch a bit of whatever film was on. The matinées were always quiet, plenty of vacant rows. Several times lone men would shuffle in and sit in a seat next but one, oddly never right next. The cinema manager was brilliant though, he would come up to the men, shine a torch in their faces and tell them to leave....they always did.

I would speak up now but I put up with a load of snash and folk taking advantage when I was younger.

I took someone's child to nursery for weeks until I wised up she was taking the piss.

🙄
