I think a few are being made examples of.

Personally I think police resources would be better spent tracking down real life, knife carrying, women abusing criminals.

Despicable though keyboard warriors are, they are not actually on the streets raping and stabbing innocent people.

I think that the fact she turned up to court with no teeth in her gob wouldn’t have done her any favours in front of the judge. She could at least have put in a cheap pair of falsies - lots of sites online now where they’ll knock you out a pair for €50

You haven't yet grasped the difference between simply expressing a view on the one hand, and inciting violence or racial or other forms of hatred on the other. Sure our laws are different, and yours are behind the times, I think your first amendment rights get in the way - look at what the Westboro Baptist Church gets away with as an example of that.
