"The mother of 14-year-old Georgia school shooter Colt Gray has a lengthy rap sheet including domestic violence, drug use and fraud that led to her being sentenced to jail time last December.

Gray was arrested on Wednesday at Apalachee High School in Winder, minutes after authorities say he opened fire on students and teachers, killing four. Colt reportedly told police 'I did it' when read his Miranda rights.

His father, 54-year-old Colin Gray, is accused of buying his 14-year-old son Colt the AR-15-style rifle the boy used and was arrested Thursday on several counts of second degree murder, involuntary manslaughter and cruelty to children."🤷

Seems mom was piece of shit and dad was an idiot. And as we often find out after these shootings................

Yeah, putting the gun inside your mouth and pulling the trigger would do the job. I pity the poor person who finds them, imagine a spouse or other family member finding a loved one with their brains blown out.

A few days ago I saw a 35ish year old woman that I met maybe once or twice, but was well known by many mutual friends, that just ended it all..

Two kids about 10 and 5.

I don't know how she did it I just hope they didn't find her.

This may sound cruel, but we used to call that selfish.

I think it still is. Maybe we weren't wrong and the way we outpour pity motivates people to do it.

Sort of like how notoriety seems to motivate school shooters. Attention is attention..

It's hard to understand why a fit person would kill themselves, especially when they are leaving young children behind.

But that's a 'normal' frame of mind thinking. I imagine when you kill yourself, you are not in a normal frame of mind.

Some do it as a cry for help, some really do want to end it all.

I don't think it's selfish so much as very sad.

There is always a backstory. The pleasant boy/girl next door who was always kind to siblings and animals, with caring loving parents....seldom are.

This kid had mental health issues and on online presence that got the FBIs attention at 13.

The rest of his family is railing against his parents for being so irresponsible.

He basically had two flags sticking out of his head. One was red and the other said "help me".

In a case like his, where it was obvious he was a ticking time bomb, family members, social services, schools, police....could and should have intervened.
It happens here too, and 'lessons have always been learned'...till the next kid goes mad and does irreversible damage.

America was founded on a gun culture and is written in the constitution. It is also founded on Law and Order, Separation of Powers including Powers (Rights) for the Individual. It was also founded on small Government but as with all institutions it grows and wants more and more control.

Many people have the colonial mindset - including the professors in Academia aiming to decolonize societies - where they impose their own values and ideology onto others.
