Lovely cards. You should try and sell them.

Thanks.  My OH used to sell loads when he worked. The Asian drivers loved all the silk, flowers and beading...they would buy them for their wives and mums.

I still have some selling in a craft shop in Haworth, but tbh, I just an't be bothered to explore online selling, which is where the market is now.

My latest online purchase is a bit of an odd one.
Empty medicine capsules.

I take a lot of herbs and spices as medicine and a difficult one is cayenne pepper.

I've been wrapping it up in Rizla papers and swallowing it to avoid the burn but I've decided I want a more regular and easy dosing method.

You can get cayenne pepper in tablets.

Rather make my own though... no fillers and fresh plus

I'll probably start mixing something else with it.

I don't want this kind of thing...

Ingredients

Full ingredients

Maltodextrin, Capsule Shell (Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose), Cayenne Pepper Extract, Anti-Caking Agents (Magnesium Stearate, Silicon Dioxide).

Always read the label before use

Especially the Maltodextrin!

And this kind of labelling has always annoyed me... it translates as we haven't really got a clue what kind of crap might have found its way in there...
May contain traces of milk, nuts (including peanuts), seeds (including sesame seeds & mustard seeds), cereals, celery, soya & gluten.

Waiting for another load of Temu crafting papers etc. The value is brilliant, but more than that, the items are beautiful.

My grandsons partner has a stall on a craft market a few times a year, she is taking about 20 of the Christmas cards I have made....not sure how many she will sell, they are not cheap.

I got it today, it had a huge dirty rip across the plastic bag.

Luckily the contents are OK, in fact they are beautiful.

People don't mind paying for homemade cards Syl.

They appreciate the time and effort that has gone into them.

Some cards on EBay go for £40

🎅

Like I said it's Shein I buy off but the stuff is beautiful and the prices are great.

I've got lots of nice decorations this year and nice Christmas towels coming.

I know, they can be really expensive.

On Etsy, some of the postage is huge, because the ones that are comparable to mine, (in my opinion) are made in America.

Pinterest have some gorgeous shabby chic cards on it's site...great to get inspiration from.

I just put my first order in from Shein Vita, some little unusual crafty bits I haven't seen anywhere else...free postage too.

That may be because I am a new customer??

I know the first order I made from Temu was a special offer, I ordered a pair of oriental looking trousers, they cost £1 and some pennies...and free postage too.

I wasn't expecting much tbh, but the pants  are great for summer.

I've always had free postage from Shein, Syl and the parcels always arrive in just over a week.

Lots of lovely craft things on there, I'm forcing myself not to look at them because I think "that looks nice, I'll have that"

After a few initial hiccups with sizing, Clothes are fine now and good quality.

I ordered some nice Christmas false nails on Shein on Monday, only £1.

I've never been very good at putting them on but at that price nothing really lost.

Well if the craft stuff I have ordered is as good as it looks online, I will definitely be ordering again.
