I was always the one who left everything to the last minute....and that's when I had a lot more to do. The last couple of years I have started early, made Christmas cards, bought close family pressies (except for OH, he is horrendous to buy for, ideas would be welcome) but so far, I am feeling very pleased with myself.

Maybe something a little different you could both enjoy - a hot air balloon ride, with some champagne (or beers?) on ice?
That’s assuming neither of you have vertigo of course!

NO, NO, NO...
I even feel dizzy when I see someone going up in one on the TV.

Oops - maybe not then!
Lol...I prefer going down rather than up.
I like scuba diving and snorkelling, and obviously Kayaking....though we sold them a couple of years ago.
I remember when I had a pic of me kayaking, you commented that everytime you looked at it you wished it had tipped up.

was that around the time you (and others, tbf) kept calling me ‘Fantasy Gal’?
Gawd, all that foolishness seems like a lifetime time ago.

It's all coming out now!
Please, no smut in the Christmas thread, if you don't mind.

See, that’s something I could never do. Mostly cos the one & ONLY time I tried to water ski, a rogue wave came right at me and flipped me (twice) over like a pancake. Scary as fuk, and I never got over it. Swimming and some leisurely snorkelling are about my limit.
Back to Xmas shopping. I’m normally about done by now, but this year I haven’t even started yet
