I've noticed many people stopped sending cards now.
One reason I think is youngsters don't bother anymore, my girls never did them. Stamps are so expensive now, I'm only sending a couple to close friends, the rest I give out.
I do Mags. I have made quite a few, mostly to family and close friends that I can hand them to.
I only post around 15, and we always get and receive around 15 from neighbours.
I like the tradition of card giving, we don't have that many traditions left in this country.

Yes I do family and neighbours too. There's not much traditional things left now.
We are the older ones, many younger ones don't bother now. In time I think it will fizzle out, but not with our generation.

I thought about this when I saw your thread.
Actually all the younger ones in my family still send cards. Grandson always writes a funny story, remembering daft things we have done over the years, then he illustrates them.
I always keep his cards, can't bare to throw them away.

Oh that's lovely. My girls, nieces ect never do them sadly.
I used to, actually looked forward to buying or making, filling them out and sending...part and parcel of the run up to Christmas. Now I send cards online, not the same in many ways but cheaper and convenient plus delivery is guaranteed.

Me and my oz friend stopped sending them, this is the second time. Apart from the cost, they either never arrived, or come late in January. Waste of time. We email everyday, so do it that way now.
