President Jimmy was a peanut farmer.

He has left behind a good legacy, not every president of the US can say the same.

RIP Jimmy Carter.

He was a great former president. He wasn't a very successful president.  He might have been too good a man for the highest office in politics.  It was really kind of amazing he won the primary.

Nothing but good things being said about him here.

It does seem like he was a very nice person, and they don't always get to the top...he did.

I think he set a record for low approval ratings as president, but he he spent the rest of his life taking on poverty, disease and homelessness..

I think his foundation basically eradicated a parasite or worm that afflicted people in Africa

He seemed to be a decent man but useless as a president. I often wondered why he didn't do more about building homes when he was in power instead of building one house at a time.
