I still pay about 90% of all entertainment.

I'm far more of a social creature than her so most entertainment is my idea, so I pay for it.

She's also very frugal and stresses when she see what things cost. It's better of she doesn't even see the bill, lol.

In fact she often doesn't even look at the menu any more and just tells me to order..

Gosh. So not only does she want you to choose what she wears, she wants you to choose what she eats too. Sounds like the perfect relationship for you.

Almost every woman on the planet makes men go through the whole "which outfit is better", even if most men don't care and just want the woman to choose one and get on with it..

I'll admit most women are too picky to just tell their man "surprise me" when it comes to food or drinks.

Yes, her low maintenance, low drama is refreshing..👍

Uppity women eh.

 I wouldn't say that. You might..🤷

“Too picky” as in her having a mind of her own? The temerity of some women knowing what they like and don’t like is shocking I know.

We even get to vote too. lol

My OH has NEVER ordered for me in a restaurant.
Thinking back, I don't think any man has ever had the nerve to presume they can speak for me, regarding food....or anything else come to that.

You need to read what I said.

It's her idea. I'd never assume I could speak for someone either, unless they asked me to .

She says would order what's cheap, not what she wants.  She said it's better if she doesn't know what it costs or ever sees the bill..

She prefers not to be stressed out when we are out. Should I not honor that request?

This is from a woman who spent 30 years with a man who didn't take her out to places like I do because he thought it was a waste of money. She's unlearning all of that neglect.

I did read what you said, I just added my own two pence worth.wink

It's sad your girlfriend wasted 30 years of her life on an arsehole, and it's good you understand why she is like she is. Hopefully, before too long, she will realise she is lovely, and deserves to be treated well....and when that day comes, I hope she orders the most expensive item on the menu...and enjoys every mouthful.

4u  (that's for her, not you)

She was raising kids and is programed to make the family unit work. That's from her parents I think though..

She would agree she should have left sooner though.

That is a good question. I think we're good as it is right now. I'm not sure if I can ever make the next step again..
