Very sad to say that today at 78 yrs old, Marianne died.  One of my favourite singers.

I'm proud to have been told since I'm was 14 how much I look like her although I couldn't see it.

 

Fly high Marianne, great singer and woman. X

Aww that's sad, I liked her too.
I thought she (and Sandie Shaw) were by far the most beautiful girl singers of the 60's.

 Yes I was reading about her on utube last night.

 

I already knew she slept in the streets, she was hooked on Cocaine and other drugs.  She pulled herself up, prob with help and started again.

 

Mick Jagger never helped, she lost his baby at 7 months, he was seeing girls behind her back.  Also Marsha Hunt, who he married.  She finished with him then went on a downwards spiral.
