Trying to GAF about whoever that fool was…….and failing to GAF
Question, though: Do you believe every single one of these Tesla saboteurs are ALL ‘woke/cryin’ lib/Democ-Rat/SJWs’ (yada yada …), or maybe, just maybe, some might be MAGA provocateurs deliberately inciting shyte - as they did during the BLM riots?

There's probably some MAGA infiltration but I suspect it is mostly anarchists.
I know many people on the left who cannot stand what Elon Musk is doing but wouldn't dream of destroying someone's personal property. It's going to be hilarious seeking MAGA driving Teslas instead of people like me though when only a few years ago they were saying how stupid it was to drive an EV.

I guess some could be, but how many MAGA provocateur were there during those riots?
I can only tell you from what I see online. There are no shortage of people who think what's happening is perfectly acceptable.
I friend of mine was at the park with his wife and kids and they keyed his Tesla. And he's never voted for Trump..
“Things that are in Musk’s nature according to Isaacson: the desire for total control; obsession; resistance to rules and regulations; insensitivity; a love of drama and chaos and urgency.
Things that are not in Musk’s nature according to Isaacson: deference; empathy; restraint; the ability to collaborate; the instinct to think about how the things he says impact the people around him; doting on his children; vacations.
“He didn’t have the emotional receptors that produce everyday kindness and warmth and a desire to be liked. He was not hardwired to have empathy,” Isaacson writes. “Or, to put it in less technical terms, he could be an asshole.”
Elon Musk - “The entire destiny of humanity” rests on the Wisconsin Supreme Court election.
Hope your end-of-days bunkers are fully stocked, folks!
The moment when you spend around $25million to buy a Supreme Court judge, and realise all you get is a cheesy hat

Jesus Christ, Americans with a brain must be asking themselves...how?
Ah but they definitely are, Syl Across the political divide, clear-headed rational Americans - including centrist trump voters - are freaking out at how their civil liberties are steadily being eroded and also at seeing their democracy possibly slipping away. And that’s in addition to the very real uncertainty about their economic future.
Even some of the most ardent MAGA cult seem to be having buyer’s remorse - along the lines of: ‘Huh?? WTF! I voted for trump to upend the lives of the Libs and the people I hate. Not MY life/MY career!’
That‘s what I’m seeing across all social media platforms/news sites/opinion pieces - both Left and Right-leaning. I do a lot of reading…
Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill, former US Navy helicopter pilot, lawyer and former federal prosecutor, targets Elon Musk. She has accused him of…
’ “a well-documented history of drug use” …. multiple sources close to Musk reportedly said they had witnessed or had direct knowledge of. LSD, cocaine, ecstasy, mushrooms and ketamine …. The report also claimed that multiple Musk insiders, including high level Tesla and SpaceX executives, were alarmed by his increasingly “volatile behavior” ‘
Of course, in a MAGA-controlled House majority, her proposed Bill - mandatory drug-testing for Government Employees - will circle the drain. But good on her for raising awareness.
Mikie Sherrill will definitely be a rising star, when/if the Democrats ever rid themselves of all the old-school congressional geriatrics and finally get their act together.
He’s announced his intention to step away from DOGE in May.
Well, sure he will! Now that he oversaw the dismantling of government agencies that were investigating his businesses, upended people’s careers/lives, and sweepingly mined all the sensitive/classified information he wanted (across the board) - he can finally bin that ‘chainsaw’.

His ‘work’ is done 🙄
I suspect that he will step down in May as he will be forced to make a choice by the investors in his companies, especially Tesla, on what he thinks is more important. I doubt they will allow him free reign to continue on with his DOGE exploits if it conflicts with the success of his businesses (which it evidently does.)
Elon himself may think there is too much downside to carrying on. Even if DOGE has made $100 billion in cuts (but the verified total may be a lot less) that could be more than offset by the economic damages of Trump's trade policies in relation to monies coming into the Treasury from tax receipts from business, and it looks like tourism may be hit particularly hard. It seems like a fools errand for him to carry on with something which ultimately won't be effective and at the same time is causing him a large amount of reputational damages and sinking the value of his companies.

Special government positions created by the president like that are always temporary. DOGE isn't.

The cuts are more than offset by interest on our debt.
That's why we borrowed 1.4 trillion the first 6 months of this fiscal year (pre tariffs), compared to 1.8 trillion in all of last fiscal year.
We are spending 100s of billions more on interest, so these piss ant cuts from DOGE aren't going to be very effective at this stage.
"A lone banner along State Highway 4 announced the location on Tuesday of the only voting center in what is sure to be a newly incorporated town arising on a spit of land at the southern tip of Texas.
On the ballot: A measure to formally launch Starbase, Texas, the town long dreamed of by Elon Musk to be home to his rocket company, SpaceX, and its 3,500 employees. Voting was taking place, appropriately enough, at a SpaceX building usually closed to visitors.
It has been a tough few weeks for Mr. Musk. Tesla announced on Tuesday its profits fell 71 percent in the first three months of the year. The company’s stock price has been plunging, denting Mr. Musk’s still-fabulous wealth. His work slashing the federal government has made him reviled in many parts of the country. He has publicly tussled with other advisers at the Trump White House, where he has ensconced himself.
But the Starbase vote is a bright spot for the megabillionaire."
