I think Elon actually wants to cut the debt (for a number of reasons, not only for the good of the US) and feels Trump has led him down the garden path, where Elon has paid the price for nothing being achieved.

The stuff about Trump being in the Epstein files seems a weird play though. I guess most people think that Trump is in them to some degree as he and Epstein were friends so you would expect them to have travelled together at some point. If Elon is alluding to the possibility that Trump was having sex with underage girls then given how many people hate Trump you would think the evidence would have been leaked before now.

Maybe so, Avon. But the fact is Elon categorically put it out there, and now there can only be one simple solution to put this issue to bed once and for all: trump’s Attorney General can release the Epstein files, in full and unredacted. I’m not expecting that to happen, of course.

But you know what? Trump’s cult and his MAGA enablers in congress are so deeply embedded by now, that even if it’s revealed that he’s always been a rampant, prolific paedo, they’d still find a way to give him a pass.

Yeah, either Trump isn't in there, or he is and the list of others is so damning that nobody wants it released. Has to be a reason Biden didn't release the information if Trump is in there doing underage girls. It would likely have assured that Harris won..

The Big Beautiful Bromance is back on track. Imo, it’s a co-dependency thing - Elon wants those government contracts and subsidies to keep on coming, and trump is very much aware that Elon is an unpredictable ketamine-addled ticking time bomb who could easily expose the entire Epstein coverup.

So I’m again predicting that we will be seeing much, much more of Mr. Elon ‘Anything can be hacked’ Musk all the way up to the midterms next year. Hell he’ll probably even fling another $250million at it all, like he did last year.

…. and the reason I took the time to bump up this thread, is to ask our resident boots-on-the-ground American a question:

What with the redistricting shite going on, and the fact that trump seems to be running scared of losing control of the House/Senate - how confident are you that the midterms will be free and fair next year?

Even with the campaign godsend of Charlie Kirk’s brutal killing, people are still massively pissed off with trump and his mob, and they intend to vote accordingly (if they’re allowed to).

You know how the system works better than any of us here do. That’s why I’m asking.

@ MD…thanks. I enjoy TYT. And yes, I agree that Democrats are in a maelstrom of confusion and pointlessness these days. I’ve said several times that their messaging is abysmal.

But no, that clip doesn’t really answer my question, which basically is about what guardrails can be put in place to prevent the election results - whatever they may turn out to be - from being messed with. Especially so, now that Elon’s back on the scene.

After another 15 or so months of trump chaos and dysfunction,I’m betting Americans in massive numbers will decide to vote against him.

His policies are making zero difference to their everyday lives, at best. At worst, they’re being crippled financially and disillusioned by his promises made, promises broken.

Republicans are riding high on the stranglehold they have on America. They seem determined to do whatever it takes to not give up that control without a fight.

If ever an election could be rigged/stolen - or even cancelled - it’s probably gonna be next year’s midterms.

Well, elections are basically a local endeavor. I guess it depends on how much pressure you think Trump can place on state and local officials.

I'm not worried about the integrity of the elections, even though the losers here often question the results.

Or they scream that voters were disenfranchised or some shit.

I can only speak for my elections here. If you can fog a mirror and are eligible to vote, you can easily vote.
