I fast forwarded through a lot of that as it was mostly video of a door..🤷
Talks have not proceeded as yet.
Note the difference in the way Starmer greeted him to the way Trump did....he made snide remarks about the way Zelinskyy was dressed, Starmer was open and friendly. Sending a clear message to that goon that Britain is on his side, the right side.
I hope Europe gives Zelenskyy all of the money and weapons he needs to destroy the Russians in his country..

The young Russian soldiers dont want to fight any more than the Ukranians do, they didn't even know they were at war at first, they were told it was just an exercise.
It seems very strange, and perhaps a little risky, that the leaders of the Baltic States - Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia - haven't been invited to today's summit in London, considering their geographical position on Russia's Eastern flank, and in terms of their GDP are amongst NATO's highest defence contributors. They are also among Ukraine's biggest supporters by directly giving them weapons and funding.
Rather than being invited in person, Starmer will talk to them on the phone instead -wtf? it's like not being invited to your mates birthday party, but don't worry he'll give you a call later and let you know how it went.
They are pretty pissed off, and I don't blame them.
Yeah, that does seem strange. I’d have thought those states would have been among the first to be included.
Maybe it’s a logistical/timing/prior commitments problem? After that Oval Office clusterfuck, European leaders had to immediately scramble to quickly put this event together.
It would be too much of a coincidence if the three countries who couldn't make it just happened to be the three Baltic States. In any case, this summit would outtrump any prior engagements.

To prolong war and many more thousands of lives?
If that's what everyone wants. 🤷
To be more serious, I think most sane people want that war to end. The manner and terms are the problem.
Ideally, Putin says "sorry for the invasion and we'll be leaving now".
Credit where it's due - Starmer has handled himself well over the last few days, albeit things have somewhat fallen into his lap.
First there was the increase in defence spending by reducing foreign aid. But let's not forget that he wanted to increase foreign aid, and Reeves' budget meant he had no other option than to reluctantly reduce it.
Then the debacle of the Trump/Zelensky meeting gave him the opportunity to look good with his warm welcome and words to Zelensky, which has equated to: Starmer = good guy, Trump = bad guy.
However, he remains an absolute fucking twat who needs to be got rid of asap.
Yes, he did the right thing greeting Zelenskyy warmly and showing the world we were with the Ukraine.
But the way he smarmed up to Trump last week, when he has made it clear in the past he can't stand the man, was cringworthy.
"Keir Starmer is planning a “Europe Plus” army to keep the peace in Ukraine if a peace deal to end Russia’s invasion can be agreed. His “coalition of the willing” is expected to include Canada and Turkey as well as European nations, according to reports.
The UK and France will provide troops and are leading efforts to create the force.
As well as ground troops, they are expected to provide air cover with military planes patrolling Ukraine’s skies. US President Trump is aware of the plans, and full details will be presented to him “in the coming days”, it was reported."
