 With the fullness of time Trump's presidency may be seen as a Potemkin village. Makes a big show of doing things, achieves little.

Israel is back to bombing Gaza with reckless abandon and Putin keeps pulling the rug on a cessation to the war. Back to square one it seems.

Afghanistan withdrawal - all Biden’s fault again, obviously. 

Let’s see how he’ll try to lay the blame on Biden when, not if, China attacks Taiwan.

 I've said something similar on the Britain is Broken thread re: the impact on US tariffs on the UK. The obvious solution is re-joining the EU given the US seems to have lost the plot (which I think would be an easier sell to the electorate than taxing the rich. Make of that what you will...)

I don't know why anyone would want to visit the US if they though they might get randomly detained at the border for questioning. Also, the US has some of the finest Universities in the world but of you are a foreign student would you want to take the risk of studying there? Might as well go to Oxbridge (which might be a benefit for us thinking about it.) 

The US will probably experience a brain drain as academics and students find it to be an oppresive place to live. At least MAGA will be happy I guess?
