Scientists say they've discovered 'vast city' UNDERNEATH Egypt's Giza pyramids.

A 'groundbreaking' discovery beneath the Egyptian pyramids has taken the world by storm.

Researchers from Italy and Scotland claim to have uncovered 'a vast underground city' which stretches more than 6,500 feet directly underneath the Pyramids of Giza, making them 10 times larger than the pyramids themselves.

The bombshell claim - which many experts claim to have already debunked - comes from a study that used radar pulses to create high-resolution images deep into the ground beneath the structures, the same way sonar radar is used to map the depths of the ocean.

The paper, which has not been peer-reviewed by independent experts, found eight vertical cylinder-shaped structures extending more than 2,100 feet below the pyramid and more unknown structures 4,000 feet deeper.

A press release described the findings as 'groundbreaking' and if true could rewrite the history of ancient Egypt. However, independent experts have raised serious concerns about the study.

Professor Lawrence Conyers, a radar expert at the University of Denver who focuses on archaeology says that it is not possible for the technology to penetrate that deeply into the ground, making the idea of an underground city 'a huge exaggeration.'

Professor Conyers said it is conceivable there are small structures, such as shafts and chambers, beneath the pyramids that existed before they were built because the site was 'special to ancient people.'

He highlighted how 'the Mayans and other people in ancient Mesoamerica often built pyramids on top of the entrances of caves or caverns that had ceremonial meaning to them.'

Ciccolo said the cylinder structures were found underneath each of the three pyramids and appeared 'to serve as access points to this underground system.'

The team explained the system as other chamber-like structures interconnecting under all three of the pyramids.

'The existence of vast chambers beneath the earth's surface, comparable in size to the pyramids themselves, which have a remarkably strong correlation between the legendary Halls of Amenti,' Ciccolo said.

'These new archaeological findings could redefine our understanding of the sacred topography of ancient Egypt, providing spatial coordinates for previously unknown and unexplored subterranean structures,' she added.

There have been civilisations that have disappeared from this planet.   Each and every cause is cited as a calamitous climate change, which begs the question why is our current climate change being blamed on fossil fuels when these other civilisations didn't use that?

The Tiwanaku civilisation, which precedes the Inca civilisation and has a lifespan of 25 centuries, is known as the 'mother culture' of South America. The civilisation mysteriously vanished without a trace.

Discovered in the mountainous region of Cappadocia in Turkey, the underground city of Derinkuyu is perhaps one of the more stunning archeological finds of the last century. Built underneath the mountains is a subterranean city that, at its height, is thought to have been the home of more than 20,000 people.

The city is more than 85 meters beneath the earth and boasts 18 different levels of tunnels. The exact date of when this city was first built is not exactly clear, but there are a handful of historians who suspect Derinkuyu to be Hittite in origin. The Hittites were a Bronze Age people who lived in much of the Anatolian Peninsula. Known for their warrior culture and mastery of the chariot, the Hittites, like many of the other civilizations, were wiped out during the calamitous Bronze Age Collapse between 1200 BC and 1150 BC.

If this Hittite theory is correct, then it is possible that many of its original inhabitants left to seek refuge from war, famine, or natural disasters. Other counter theories claim that Derinkuyu was built in response to the Bronze Age Collapse and was intended as a kind of primitive fallout shelter from what would have been nothing short of an apocalyptic event for these people.

The Akkadian Empire formed 4,300 years ago, when Sargon the Great consolidated the city-states of ancient Mesopotamia under his rule. It extended along the Tigris and Euphrates rivers from the Persian Gulf into modern Turkey. But within two centuries of its founding, around 2150 B.C.E., the empire suddenly collapsed.

In recent decades, some archaeologists have suspected the Akkadians succumbed to drought. The Curse of Akkad, a contemporary poem that purportedly tells of the empire’s decline, says “the large arable tracts yielded no grain, the inundated tracts yielded no fish, the irrigated orchards yielded no syrup or wine, the thick clouds did not rain.”

Then, in 2018, paleoclimatologists discovered new evidence in an unlikely place: northern Iran’s Gol-e-Zard Cave, hundreds of miles away. It may be distant, but the cave lies directly downwind of Akkadian territory, and the composition of its stalagmites offers a precise record of dry spells in the region — higher magnesium levels indicate dusty periods, once of which coincides perfectly with the fall of the empire.

This news release has seriously unsettled the world of science history
engineering archaeology philosophy and more.
It's caught peoples imaginations around the world.
It is really mind blowing.
The pyramids have possibly been the greatest mystery of the last few thousand years.
Who built these things why>
You don't build something like this without reason and purpose.
Trying to convince people the last couple of hundred years that these
were elaborate tombs no longer works and why would it?
No mummies or other human remains have ever been found in these pyramids.
No statues no wall art in fact not a lick of paint or dye or ink anywhere.
No hieroglyphics nothing.
For a long time I've thought of these structures as something industrial or in themselves huge machines maybe power plants.
Massive impossible and mysterious.
Now the whole thing has gone right of the chart!
Many people around the world are looking for a hoax but it doesn't seem to be materialising.
If this is real it upends just about everything we thought we were beginning to understand.
Truly mind blowing.

I think there are many things we've underestimated or not yet discovered.   Apparently, the surface that the pyramid is on, is that flat and even that today you'd have to use laser technology to get the same result.

Hey Hunters, So everyone is scrambling to find information and verification for the claims about new structures located under the Middle Pyramid in Giza. I found the source of the person who had permission from the Italian Team to post the initial Press Release PDF document from Last weeks Conference. ‪@trevorgrassi‬ We had a quick chat to clarify what the story is so far, whats about to happen next and the potential implications if any of this data can be verified. NEW VIDEO FROM THE Italian TEAM -    • Conferenza: #Giza - Le piramidi e la ...   links - THE GRAND GIZA DISCLOSURE Everything we've got so far, on the KHAFRE PROJECT... (All

Did the ancient Egyptians possibly have access to laser technology (maybe given by visiting aliens)?

It's getting huge this story and beginning to look truer by the moment!

“Be careful where you choose to get your information from. If you develop a critical mindset it will help you to evaluate the story and decide whether you think it is true or not. Approach what you read with a heavy dose of cynicism."

Things have gone a bit quiet on this. One thing that needs explaining is how they can claim to have detected chambers extending hundreds of meters deep, when the SAR radar they used can only penetrate a few centimetres into the ground (it's normally used to map surface details from aircraft). Any idea how that has been achieved?

Despite the excitement it stirred up, I think it's a good example of how we should treat every day like it's April Fools day when it comes to internet stories.

PS you might wonder why Corrado Melanga, the bloke behind the story, would want to make something up. A quick look at the books he's written might give a clue.
