Again, I’m sorry to be a pain in the ass. But could I please ask whether anyone uses an iPad when posting YouTube clips here?

If so, could you please tell me how to get the clip’s URL copied onto here? I’ve tried every which way, but….nada!bdh

Sorry Vam, I use a laptop, when I am on the tablet I can't do it either.

 I seriously doubt THAT! lolNo one can get close to matching my tech dumbassery.

Problem is, I haven’t used a laptop in over a year.

Hi Vam,  iPad user here (Pro if it makes a difference).  Go to your chosen youtube channel, go into top address bar and highlight the address by clicking - dragging the “handles”  if the entire address hasn’t been highlighted (ensure beginning and end of address is highlighted). Select copy. 

Come into CM, select YouTube icon and paste the address into the box.

i’d post pics but don’t have an image site to upload from :(

 After you click share, then copy link, can you paste the link into something other than here, like a note on your ipad? ? And if you can, does it look like a url, such as https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxxxxxxx?   

Just trying to work out if the problem is with the copy part, or if it's this site that's giving the problem.

Further to my last post, can you try copying the link from one of your youtube videos, then reply to this, just pasting what you've got copied in your reply.

 

If it's a proper url, I'll put it in a youtube link. Assuming it works, I'll tell you what steps I followed.

 

Then you can try doing the same, and if it fails, you can say how it failed - for instance it didn't paste anything into the box, or something else happened.

 Are you using the YouTube app on your Ipad when trying to do so?

If you are using the app try finding the song you want using a web browser (Safari / Google / Edge) instead. Go to Youtube on your web browser (click no if it asks you if you want to open in the app istead.) Find the song you want, click on it and when the webpage opens (the song may start playing automatically) then copy the Web page from the URL which should be visible. Paste that link and maybe that will work?

… anyway…that trailer was something I wanted to show Syl, Mags and any other ladies around who fancy a weepie movie. I must have watched it at least twice over the years. It’s Disney, so yeah maybe a bit naff, BUT it reels me in every time!😢

It‘s about a guide on a research station in Antarctica, and his much loved team of sled dogs. He’s heartbroken when he has to abandon them, but vows to return to pick them up.
