I like Sean Harris - he plays menacing characters very well. He was in a recent French series - Paris Has Fallen - where he's an ex-Legionnaire who's wife and kids were murdered. He's covered in burns and torture scars and is out for revenge.
Another one I cannot stand is Joe Cole - hes a right dopey looking cunt but seems to get cast as hard men, as in the recent Gangs of London.

Joe Cole is not a good actor. There's lots of actors who could play his part in Gangs of London far better than him.
Just watched “The Murder of Joanna Yeates” (Prime). A decent enough documentary, not sensationalist.
Her parents, detectives, reporters and Christopher Jefferies are featured. The murderer mentioned minimally (thankfully).
Even though it’s been nearly 15 years ago I can still remember the viciousness of the papers towards Jefferies with all those outlandish articles quoting “reliable/unnamed sources”. The press and the police didn’t come out of it smelling of roses, quite rightly so.
Jefferies successfully sued several publications but I expect some folks still side eye him in the street.

He's one of the few actors where I'll watch a movie just coz he's in it. He scared me to death in Harry Brown!
He was brilliant in Harry Brown, as were all the cast. I don't think I have ever not enjoyed a Micheal Caine performance..and the lesser known character actor David Bradley is always watchable. It's one of my favourite films.
I have only watched 2 episodes (there are 8) but it's good.
Woman (40's) meets man online...he pursues her, initially she isn't that interested. She is lonely, hasn't had a relationship in a long time, eventually succumbs...but he is turning out to be not exactly what she thought.

First 2 episodes of Suspect: The Shooting of Jean Charles de Menezes.
An excellent portrayal of the terror threat at that time, and shows how completely mental is was to have shot the wrong person, who bore no resemblance whatsoever to the suspect.

The police lied through their teeth about this shooting. I listened to a programme about the huge cock-ups they made recently....they even told the family they would have to pay for his body to be sent back home.
I haven't seen Suspect, I will definitely watch it though.

There was a whole team following him to the tube station and several said it wasn't the right person, but they still shot him anyway!

Yes, and apparently, according to a dozen or so onlookers, unlike what the police claimed, they didn’t challenge him, he didn’t try to run, they just shot him without warning.
After the event, they tried to besmirch his name by releasing false info about him to the press...he had been arrested for rape, he was working here illegally...none of it true..
I don't know if the TV series touches in that, I will watch it .

Sounds interesting. Will find where it’s streaming and watch when I can, thanks for the heads-up.
I've started watching Andor on Disney+ (part of the Star Wars series.)
It follows Cassian Andor as he becomes a Rebel Spy in the early days of the Empire and is set a few years before the events in Rogue One. I'm on episode 5 of season 1 and so far it is really good.
Best recorded so you can fast forward all the rubbish....but I love it.
It's a gay fest now. I had a look but turned it off. So political.
Some of the songs were good...the UK were brilliant, they got 80 odd points, should have got more.
The lad that won ( Austria) sounded like Kate Bush....I tipped him to win.
I'm not really into Eurovision, but I liked the UK entry. Can you explain how the voting system works? I know the public can vote but don't understand how the girls got zero votes?
PS I wasn't keen on the winning song, it seemed to be all about him hitting high notes which seemed a bit gimmicky to me. The crowd got excited by it though.
"Fans from all participating countries can vote over the phone, by text, or through the Eurovision app. However, they can't vote for their own country's entry.
The public's votes make up half of the total score, with the other half coming from a professional jury in each country."
The UK were doing OK from the professional juries votes, we were about 10th I think.
But then the fans votes are added separately, and just like last year, we received zero votes, which plummeted us right down. At least we got some votes, and the italian jury even gave us the top marks.

We never win this now. No matter the song or singer. I think we should pull out now. It's all political as I said before.
