I watched the Ozzy movie No Escape from Now - it's very good and like an extended version of the old fly on the wall series, except he's now dealing with Parkinsons and multiple surgeries.

He was a naturally funny man, right up to the end "I used to take pills for fun, now I take them to stay alive"

It was quite poignant to see him make it to his farewell gig and come up through a hole in the stage in his leather armchair with a manic grin on his face - the crowd going mental, with most of them in tears - then just 2 weeks later see him driven past the same venue in the back of a hearse.

The women in his family now all have weirdly enhanced faces with XXL lips - the same applies to Billy Idol, who was also in it.

I never watch Reality TV these days but Stephen Fry was in "Celebrity Traitors" so I thought I would take a look. I watched five missed episodes in one night. Five hours and It passed like a minute!

It is SO addictive. I always watch YouTube and occasionally a film but this really is good. Is anyone else watching?

I think Alan and Cat have had it. The Faithful 's were over thinking it and going round in.circles but they have finally worked it out. As it's for charity, I think the Faithfuls  have to win. I could sense Stephen getting weary so I'm glad he could go and have a lie down! I do think they picked on Kate Garroway a bit as she has not long lost her husband. She just wanted to fit in. I felt they were a bit bitchy towards her but I guess that's just group dynamics.

It's the final next week and the most annoying man in the world professional rugby player Joe Marlon will triumph. Humph. Still, it was fun while it lasted!

I love it Fluffy, I mentioned it on the previous page when it first started.

Jo Marler has been the best guesser of traitors, and if he can convince the other 2 faithfuls that Alan and Cat are indeed traitors, he has a good chance of winning.

Alan Carr and Celia Imran have been the stars of this years show, imo.

Hub watching re-runs of Game of Thrones. He was working before so never got into it. I'm enjoying watching some of it again.

I love the little man, Tyron Lanister I think that's his name, he's one of my favs in it. Love Kaleisi (sp) Mother of Dragons to.

RIOT WOMEN...on BBC and catchup.

From the same writer as 'Happy Valley', set in and around Hebden Bridge, one of my favourite places to visit.
It's funny and sad.

 I'm looking forward to Frankenstein

Episode 1 of Pluribus was very good. From the makers of Breaking Bad

A little late but never mind. I was SO surprised but happy Alan won! happy He really did feel guilty at the end but seeing the two betrayed Faithfuls comforting him when he was sobbing was a tad ironic !

The reason the Faithfuls, despite being so intelligent as individuals, failed hopelessly to find the Traitors was because they kept over thinking things and created suspicious activity which didn't exist! Kate Garroway thinking it could be somebody based on how much sun dried tomatoes they had on their plate showed how desperate and lost they were! It didn't help that they genuinely got on as a group and bonded during the tasks. They didn't really want to get rid of anyone.

It was a huge ratings winner too.  Alan was just fantastic. He was so funny to watch. My mum wanted David and the gentleman whose name I can't remember  to win at the end but for me it was Alan all the way. cheer3

I really didn't like Ruth. I didn't think the viciousness that she showed towards Jonathan was appropriate, it was a game ffs. crazy She had a face like thunder all through the final too, you could tell she wasn't impressed with Alan winning. Was there any celebrities you didn't like?

I have never watched Traitors before in its entirety so I will definitely start to watch the normal versions from now on. It's a clever format. Really enjoyed it !popcorn

Oh Emilia Clarke who.plays the Mother of Dragons is impossibly gorgeous as is her on line hubby! I adored Karl Drogo fe For his personality of course!

Jamie Lannister is pretty easy on the eye too..

I really tried to watch GOT all the way to the end, ditto the books. But there were just too many storylines for me and it became a chore. But the first few novels and series on tele are captivating viewing. I'm sure the actor who played Tyrion Lannister won an Emmy for his role, as you say he really makes the series, he's very witty.

Oh I love Mother of Dragons, yes she's very beautiful. Drogo had a nice personality as did   Jamie and Jon Snow too.  I never really noticed how they looked very  much innocent

The actor's  brilliantly their parts,  superb show.

Yes Tyrion Lannister played his part wonderfully.  Funny, sad, I didn't blame him killing his father lol.  I was angry how he treated Tyrion, so karma came around for him. axe

I'm enjoying it all over again cheer3

I had forgotten who Ruth was, I had to google her.

There was no one who I really disliked, I was sad Paloma Faith was murdered so early on, and I think Charlotte Church went too early too.

Alan was brilliant, as was Cat....Jonathan made a good traitor, but it was inevitable he would be voted out because the other two had each other's backs.

I liked Stephen Fry, he is just so genuine, Celia Imran was great, and I felt a bit sorry for Kate Garraway, she was picked on a bit I thought.

I have watched The Traitors from the start, but this Celebrity one was by far the best.

Imo, Emilia Clark could be on course to becoming an iconic actress - up there with the likes of Maggie Smith, Helen Mirren and Judi Dench, among others.

She was fabulous in a weepie movie - Me Before You  (guys, look away now… 😂)

Season 2 is out. First episode was just OK, but I think that's sorta how season 1 started.

hiHiya Gabs - I’ve just seen your post. And yep, that movie was a little gem.

Wish we could see more of you over here. I kinda miss all the completely random stream-of-consciousness fun threads you used to start at Dogs 😂 Those threads used to really lighten up the mood over there.

I’m sure you’ve seen that the whole vibe here is super-chilled, so you really should sign up/post more (if you can) 😉
