The Night Manager....brilliant.
I caught up with series one...now watching series 2 on BBC1

nodnodnod Superb first season. Finding it hard to get into Season 2 though, but that’s cos my head’s been a bit frazzled these days…

Whenever I finally get a chance to veg out on the couch for a while, I’ve really gotten into Law & Order UK. I used to only ever recall Bradley Walsh as a game show host. I didn’t realise he’s such a good actor too!

Though I have really got into the 2nd series of Night Manager, I don't find watching Tom Hiddleston as appealing to watch now he has aged....shallow I know. nod

I haven't watched Law and Order, but I remember watching Bradley Walsh in Coronation Street, he was a main character in it around 20 years ago, and he was really good in it,  possibly better than some of them that have been in it from the start.

He was gorgeously sexy in Crimson Peak fe

He is a bit too clean cut for my taste....but very watchable.

I can't imagine him with Taylor Swift though...they must have made an odd couple.

Netflix HIS AND HERS....It's not for everyone, a bit like a steamy soap opera at times...but I bet no one guesses 'who done it'.

RUN....been watching it on ITVX.

A four part series, different story every night with a connecting theme. Olivia Coleman is in the first episode. Gritty and dramaic, definately worth watching.

We Will Dance Again - doc about the Oct 7th attack

Shown from both perspectives - Israelis hiding in rubbish skips, fridges etc and filiming everything on their phones. The terrorists are wearing bodycams and filming it for 'Hamas social media'.

An Israeli suggests that they hide in the portaloos, next second a terrorist is firing bullets into a row of portaloos. Grenades being thrown into a roadside concrete bunker, only for them to be thrown out again, until the person throwing them out has his hand blown off and someone else has to take over.

It was a trance party and most of the Israelis were tripping on LSD

On BBC iPlayer

We watched Dark Water last night based on a real story. It's in America. It's about a big corporation poisoning people with their waste going in to their drinking water and streams. Animals dying, people dying.

Took years to prove, not come to Court yet. Unless it has since The .com was shot. The Lawyer fighting for it is such a brave, persistent man.

Worth a watch.

Sounds like the film Erin Brockovich, which was a true story, could be about the same case.

Dirty Business was on recently on Channel 4 - about the UK sewage scandal - and Dark Water sounds very similar.

It was good but somewhat ruined by the the staff at the water companies being portrayed as complete imbeciles, almost to the point of parody, which lessened the seriousness of the situation.

I watched that when it first came out, iirc. Left me in no doubt what murderous savages these terrorises are and how much I fully believe the horrific treatment the hostages claim they received.

Is this regarding Teflon? If so it's a dam good film, well worth watching.

In a similar vein to water concerns...I remember a while back watching "Flint: The Poisoning of an American City" -  what these big corporations try and get away with.

" It follows the more than five-year saga of the water crisis which began when the state-appointed emergency manager of Flint switched the city's water source from the city of Detroit to the Flint River. The toxicity of the water and insufficient treatment quickly eroded the pipes and introduced lead into the drinking water of the city of 100,000. The film traces the timeline of the city's interaction with the Flint River - from the continued abuse and neglect of both city infrastructure and environmental regulations, to subsequent population decline, through today's crisis."

Yes it is.  How many times, we just don't know, have Corporations committed this crime. It's scandalous.

We saw a film couple weeks ago, it was based in Poland.  Where men worked in a factory and the  lead dust was killing the children.  It only affected children.  They had black gums and teeth from the lead poison.

It was called Lead Children.   It was a brilliant film, based on real life like the these others, all with a very  similar story.

Watched Louis Theroux's Netflix documentary on the Manosphere.

It was ok but he didn't really get much insight into that world or what motivates some of the major influencers in it.

I watched the first episode of The Madison, another Taylor Sheridan project.

The scenery is beautiful and the message really struck me, and that's difficult for most "shows".

I don't want to bena spoiler, but let me just say, if you have that special someone, and they want to share things they enjoy with you, do it.

Just checked out the trailer…annnd that‘s my weekend viewing planned. Thanks! 👍🏻

I really like the actress Mariska Hargitay. So I finally got around to watching her film about her Mom, Jayne Mansfield. Definitely worth a watch!

I didn't know that was her mom until a few years ago..

Of course I watch so little TV that I don't know a lot of things about celebrities..
