 I think it has been pretty self evident besides myself and Avon, that posters in.the Whine are to the right politically.  Nothing wrong with that but it's a tiny demographic and people who are right wing  don't always agree with the concept of trans people  and they are entitled to their opinion.

I don't really know where Syl and Vam stand politically and it's their right to keep that private. But I agree with Vam on this issue.

 Do you have to be personally affected to worry about frocked blokes encroaching/ trying to destroy women’s rights? Does it not affect you when burly fake females threaten rape, throat slitting and such when a woman voices her opinion on privacy and safety for herself and her daughters, it does me despite my not being personally involved. 

Thank God there are people out there fighting for women’s safety and rights…people, I might add, that may or may not have been impacted personally. 

You don’t have to experience something first hand to have concern for others’ plights.

 You obviously have no idea what "political movement" Blair is talking about. It's the one that attacks her even though she's a transgender..And that movement has nothing to do with MAGA. It's the same one that physically attacked her over a red hat. 

Even more clear why trans issues have become such a political issue and who is pushing for it.

 Trump's EOs are being enforced but they don't apply to things like a high school track meet..

Those would be handled at the state or local level.

Congress has tried to pass laws regarding men in women's sports. Those efforts have failed and you can guess which party opposed it..

They just don't fucking learn..

So I commented about how I believe the transgender minority are being demonised, in America, and that I believe his American president is negatively impacting the whole issue.

 I'm not S.tooo.   There's no naughty step here and you can say what you like.   We don't ban people for disagreeing in a debate or shut them down.   If anyone  does get a ban on here  they usually deserve it.

 Thank you for confirming that Digs, I guess I'm used to the Dogs type style of moderation.  I did worry that because my political views are different I may be banned.

I understand now that you don't help forumers when others are in the wrong  but you also won't stop people posting for having a different mentality. I think that's fair. If you didn't agree with the persona known as Stooo or mods they would make up a reason to ban you or make snide remarks. 

I'm glad it's different here.
