He made an odd thread a week ago, a couple of us did ask if he was OK, no answer.
Jack and I go back many years, often at loggerheads, but obviously I hope nothing is amiss.

 Was that the life changing events one?

It did seem to cryptically suggest that something was up and he might not be around for a while. Hopefully he will pop back in and say hello at some point.

He does this from time to time, but the timing with his thread is a bit odd..

Hopefully he just taking a break and it has nothing to do with his health or that of his family..

Yes, MD, I know he does sometimes wander off. But it’s been almost a month since he last logged in. I could be wrong, but I don’t recall him ever staying gone for this long before. Like you, I’m hoping the same 🤞🏻

I'm sure he's older than that.

 I don't think he is. Vaguely remember him saying he was in his later 50's on the Mirror....that's around 17 years ago.

He just seemed older because he moaned a lot.wink

From what I recall, mid-70s does sound about right.

Anyway, hopefully he’ll be back and moaning again here soon.

I always had some time for this gentleman and he was very kind to me and always had nice word.  I will miss him if he has gone.  I feel sometimes he was sidelined on this forum by some posters, not sure why we are all different etc, that may not have helped X

 I've  always got on with Jack, through all the forums.

I do hope he's ok.  He's been off grid quite awhile now. 😔
