It's genuinely sad to me that women judge usually younger confident women with such damaging rhetoric. As you say Anon, women used to be accused of witchcraft but this was often by men. Now we have the manosphere where a certain type of isolated men show their fear and loathing of women by being openly rude about modern women, wanting a return to the 1950's where women did not generally pursue careers and married far more. It just gets so tiresome that women don't support each other more. I don't think believing someone lacks class is reason to insult them but I think the crude terms used to dehumanise women like Meghan lack class. Where is the class in cruelty? Women have been hated since Eve the temptress forced poor hapless Adam to eat the apple. But women hating women is more prominent since women became more sexually liberated which I don't think was expected.

I forgot to add self confessed incel males from the manosphere actually go on killing sprees fatally wounding children aswell as women in the process. Sexual offences are also on the rise, men no longer intervene when a woman is being harassed in public because they snort "women are strong and independent now aren't they. let them handle it ". Misogyny is rife in society and women joining in with the same sentiment as these men with such virtuol is not helpful. Of course women can dislike female celebrities for being show off's or not having decorum but these traits don't hurt others. How can young women not over sexualise themselves when the media openly critiques women for not being attractive enough. Ladies with means inject poison (botox) into their face because society dictates women are not allowed to age. Women who age naturally are viewed as disgusting by many men of the same age. The demands that are made of women are a tyranny and that's why it would help if we were a little kinder to each other.

Sorry, but you seem to be overthinking the situation in this particular context and steering the issue into a whole different topic.

Irrespective of gender, and irrespective of who it is publicising their private family time, I wish I could avoid seeing it! 🫣 It makes me feel I’ve mistakenly wandered into a complete stranger’s home and intruded on an intimate moment. It’s just plain cringe, imv 🤷🏻‍♀️

But they do “hurt”. Young kids are influenced by these vacuous wannabes so emulate their behaviour.

“Over sexualise”: Teach your daughter(s) self worth. Time spent will be a good investment for the future.

I wasn't overthinking it as the OTT insults calling a woman a turd and trash for dancing fully clothed are on the thread. I was explaining why this attitude is destructive on a deeper level. But if you just thought it was cringe and nothing more I totally get that! It does seem to be a silly but still intimate private moment between a couple excited about the birth of their baby. But Maddog said he was impressed Meghan could twerk in her condition and I think she wanted to show off a bit and that was probably her reason for uploading it as it doesn't fit with the other pictures to celebrate her daughter's 4th birthday.

In other words women should just be kind and keep their gobs shut, akin to the trans movement demands? Thankfully the days of “barefoot and pregnant“ have long gone for many. Women have opinions whether men or other women want to hear them or not.

I was actually digging the garden the day before labour coupled with household chores, not all women are couch bound during the late stages of pregnancy so I don’t think Markle being able to “twerk” for a minute or two was anything to be impressed with but that’s just me.

If it were just a few comments criticising their crass behaviour then fair enough but they got the world’s attention (and comments) they desperately crave - just not the positive reaction they were perhaps hoping for and expecting. But hey, the majority are probably just dried up old trouts riddled with jealousy.

This pair can’t read the room, they lurch from one disaster to another.

You do realise that men can be just as vain as women when it comes to botox / face lifts etc, right? Look at the likes of Simon Cowell, David Guest, Barry Manilow, Kenny Rogers… look at the ridicule and comments they received/get, from both male and female alike.

I prefer to see people aging naturally, there’s a beauty in an elderly persons face I feel.

There is beauty to be found in all people's faces. If you love someone they look beautiful to you. I worked in a nursing home many moons ago and a lady with dementia in her 90's had a sweet face and an endearing laugh. She had rare moments of clarity. When dressing her one morning I told her she looked lovely. She gestured to herself in a self despicating way and laughed "no". Then the dementia took her again. But she was beautiful to all the staff in a way the camera didn't capture. These days modern marketing dictates only women and men with sexual allure are beautiful. But its not true, people of all ages and creeds, especially elderly people can possess grace and beauty, just not the stereotype endorsed in fashion magazines.

I can understand people who feel that Harry has been a bit traitorous to his family, but I think he was never comfortable with the prim and proper lifestyle the royals are meant to lead, and Meghan, especially with her being American, also wasn't a good fit for that, so it's no big surprise they decided to bugger off.

Magica I like you as a poster but it doesn't make sense to say Meghan hasn't had children. If she was unable to have kids for some reason there would be no reason to conceal adoption. Harry's children won't be considered very high up the Royal family tree, even if the monarchs and the couple were on speaking terms that wouldn't change.
