The above post by Digger just highlights... the actual car that killed three people, one being the most famous woman in the world, was never proven to be found.
I, and millions like me, didn't have to read Fayeds 'theories' about what happened and why. For one, I don't agree with his theories, and for 2, when I watched it all play out on TV (I got out of bed and turned the news on as soon as it had been reported the princess had 'hurt her arm' in a car crash in Paris) It soon became clear it was far more serious than a hurt arm.
No one will convince me that this was a simple RTA, and the investigations, both private and public, have just made it more certain to me that she was assassinated.
I agree Syl. She was murdered imo.
The white car was found, burnt out with the driver inside. That's got to be suss.
I doubt she was pregnant tbh she loved that doctor, not Dodi allegedly.
I could remembering wrong but wasn’t that a renowned pap? Years ago I watched a Diana documentary and it later mentioned him/burnt out car. He came across as quite sleazy and ruthless if it’s the same bloke.
Oh maybe it was anon. Syl said the driver of the white Fiat and car was never found.
Edit: *Daily Mail says BMW other articles I’ve read claim Mercedes, so who knows.
That burned out car incident happened 2 years after Diana died.
Who's to say the Mercedes didn't clip the Fiat? They knew the Mercedes was speeding.
Yes I know. I was just giving a little info on the photographer in case anyone wanted to read up on him.
I feel it was just a tragic accident. I don’t believe she was pregnant or about to get engaged or whatever to Dodi…I put all Al Fayed’s claims down to grief and wanting to blame someone for his son‘s death, which is understandable in many ways.
What I can't fathom is why, rather than just entertaining the murder theory as a possibility, people then go a step too far and convince themselves it's a fact. It's the same for all conspiracy theories - yes such and such a scenario could be possible, but that doesn't mean it actually happened. I guess what's needed is for people to question their own ideas, and be wary of being taken in by them - although I guess it's human nature to defend one's own opinions to the hilt.
Opinions are like arses...everyone has one.
What I personally find best, is to read as many reports as possible, from various agencies. Listen to others 'opinions'...and if something feels wrong, investigate, then you may reach an opinion, but it'll be an informed one.
And actually, one can even do this without sounding like a patronising, know all twit.

Diana told friends she wasn't that serious about Dodi. I think she really loved that surgeon guy but he backed away because of all the publicity. Al Fayed was desperate for his son to marry Diana, and now he's been proven to be a lecherous old liar.

I hadn't intended to sound patronising, and I'm sorry you read it that way. What I was getting at was I don't understand how anyone can be certain of something that's uncertain.

To many it is certain.
They believe 100% the official view that it was a tragic accident, which had she not been driven by a drunk driver, which is not certain, according to some, the tests on his body didn't make sense, (see link below) and the chasing paparazzi (undisputable) the event would not have happened
Some people will blindly believe what their governments tell them....some people don't.

The drink driving claim and alcohol levels found in Henri Paul's blood was challenged by a British pathologist hired by Al-Fayed - a man now known to be an sex pest and liar. In response, French authorities carried out a third test, this time using the more medically conclusive vitreous fluid from inside the eye, which confirmed the level of alcohol measured by blood and also showed Paul had been taking antidepressants, a combo known to impair brain function and reactions.
The level of carbon monoxide in Paul's blood, the first test showed a level of 12.8% carboxyhaemoglobin saturation. Smokers routinely have a level of 8-10 per cent or more if they have recently smoked. Paul had been smoking in the hours before the crash. However, the second test, which has been cited by the opponents of the official findings, showed Paul's carboxyhaemoglobin saturation at a level of 20.7% at the time of his death. Carbon monoxide disperses at the rate of about half every four or five hours. In other words, the level of 20.7 per cent found during Paul's autopsy could have been 40 per cent several hours earlier when he died. Had Henri Paul really had 40 per cent carbon monoxide in his system, it would have been impossible for him to function at all, let alone drive a car. A level of 20-30 per cent produces strong headaches, and a level of 30-40 per cent would cause nausea, vertigo and vomiting.
If there was any defect in the engine of the Mercedes that contaminated the inside of the vehicle, why didn't Dodi and Diana have high levels of carbon monoxide in their blood also?
In Mohamed Al-Fayed's view, which he repeated in court at the inquest in February 2008, Prince Philip, Prince Charles, Diana's sister, and numerous others were all plotting to kill Diana. This is the man who claimed Dodi put an engagement ring on Diana's finger.
Al-Fayed said the couple chose the ring in Monte Carlo, and Dodi had picked it up in Paris the day before he died after it had been altered. This statement of Al-Fayed was contradicted by the statements of Claude Roulet, a shop assistant, and the CCTV footage which proved that a ring had been selected by a Ritz hotel official. It was bought by Mohammed Al-Fayed after the couple's death.
A week before she died, the princess had told people.... "I need marriage like a rash on my face."
Finally, when Diana wanted to marry Hasnat Khan, a muslim, there was no opposition from either the Royal Family or anyone else.
I never took Fayads version of what he believed had happened seriously. Grief and wishful thinking coloured his viewpoint imo.
I also believe Diana was in love with Hasnat Khan, who finished the relationship because their lives were worlds apart.
How do you know, IF Diana had ever discussed marriage with a Muslim, the royal family would not have objected?

This
It’s been widely reported that she would often try and figure out ways to irritate Charles and The Fam.
I reckon she might have just gone ahead with it, at the very least because she knew how much it would have driven them into a tailspin.
(I wish I could post what I was told back in the day, by people very much in the know. But I won’t risk it, it’s potentially too defamatory to post on an open forum)

😂🤣😂
Question: Do you think posting something that could get the Whine slapped with a defamation lawsuit is a bannable offence? 😜

Why not private message the mods, tell them what you know and if they deem it ok then it can be posted? If it’s not then nothing has been publicly displayed.

Hang on, do you mean you're privy to inside information that should have been shared with the investigation or inquest?

How do we know they would?
It was Hasnat Khan's family who objected. They didn't want him to marry a non muslim in spite of Diana declaring she would convert to Islam. It was never going to happen. She wanted Khan to give up his job and work alongside her. She just couldn't understand why he wouldn't do that. There was an emotional immaturity to Diana a lot of the time.

🤦🏻♀️ Fuxsake. Wipe that drool away, and unbunch your panties.
No. What I was referring to was dinner conversations, where some folks were generally speculating about what might have happened (in their opinion). Little more than gossip, really. Kinda like what folks have been doing on this thread.

Ah, right-o. For a minute there when you said people very much in the know, I thought you meant people very much in the know. My bad.
