Syl, you’re a supremo at this stuff! 👏🏻👏🏻 Diggs too, obviously.

I’m with Magsy - no idea how/which platform to use, cos I want to do an Avon Barksdale on Dogs and Barksdale here at Whine.
But me & tech? It always ends in tears scruffy

The first one about CM forum was totally AI generated.

I admit I have tweaked the others a tiny bit, and Im sure Digger has too. It's been fun, x

None of mine were AI generated.  grin

I had no idea you were Italian!!!lol

hi Ciao bella!

Fux sake, Diggs, you’ve kinda ‘known’ me on Forums since around 2014! 🤦🏻‍♀️

In the chaos of forum life while dodging the trolls I must have forgotten

Ladies...we meet up at the Ritz, (The Manchester dancehall , not 5*London hotel )wink

The glitter ball at the local Ritz was spinning faster than the rumors, casting tiny diamonds across the sticky carpet. It was Thursday, which meant “Grab a Granny” night—a chaotic, glorious tradition of cheap gin, loud 80s cheese, and absolutely zero shame.
Syl was first at the table, checking her reflection in a flowered powder compact. She wore a vintage flowered dress, a silver slide of roses in her messy bun, and a ruthless desire to kick off her crocs and dance.
She was instantly joined by Mags, a woman with a booming laugh and an even louder dress, "Name's Mags," she shouted, in a loud cockney accent, barely audible over Wham! "Got us all a pint of stout"  she bellowed. "I hate drinking alone"
Just then, Digger squeezed into a seat, looking like she’d just come from fixing a motorcycle (which, she later admitted, she had). "Need a drink," Digger muttered, "and somewhere safe to hide from that bloke from Birmingham in the tweed jacket, and what looks like a spanner in his pocket"
Finally, Vam arrived, draped in velvet jodphurs and smelling of expensive perfume. She looked at the crowded dancefloor with an amused smile. "I heard this was the place to find a prince," Vam whispered, her voice husky. "Or at least, a decent story to regale the forum with."
Syl raised her glass, looking at the other three—the sharp, the sturdy, the riotous, and the elegant. "To finding neither," Syl toasted, "but having a hell of a night anyway."
By 4 am, they were the last ones standing, singing Janis Joplin in the taxi line. They didn't find a prince, but they found each other, which, in the chaos of a Thursday night, was much better.

Just seen this. Oh  Syl it's magnifico!

I don't know how you do this but oh I had a good chuckle. lollol

Singing Janice Joplin in the taxi line.  Thanks for the laugh! 😂

The chrome and ceramic green work well together - some of the spaceships look like giant toasters.

The retro futuristic women aren't bad looking either!

The sad thing is, women were more or less that shape in that era.   I was at the dentist the other day, and three big fat girls were sitting in the waiting room not a one of them over 30, with absolutely enormous fat arses clad in leggings.  I'm talking 20 stoners here and then some.   You could see the cellulite through the clothing.   They were gross for such young girls.   You never saw that level of obesity when I was that age.   You kind of have an excuse as you get older, because it's harder to lose weight but in your 20s?   It should just fall off if you go on  a diet.

A lot of crap food that is available now wasn't around then, plus people didn't have screens and went out more, so being shapely was probably more of a default setting than something you had to work too hard at.

I believe in freedom of choice though, and those fat girls probably had a lot of pleasure in getting that fat, even though they probably wish they hadn't done it in hindsight. While others go to the gym and are careful what they eat, the fat girls would have been lazing around on the sofa eating buckets of KFC binge watching shit TV - it's their choice though - and is why I would never feel sorry for a fat person unless it was some kind of medical condition.

The 1950/60s pin up girls were something else though - the sort that sailors would get tattoed on their arms - much more appealling than the stick insect models of today. In general terms of course.
