I believe one person was the catalyst that inspired countless wannabes, most of whom have no discernible talent, to desperately seek instant fame and easy money, by trying to raise their profiles on reality TV shows, on podcasts, and by swarming all over every social media platform imaginable.
That person was Jade Goody.
People saw and heard Jade, kept reading about how much money she was making, and thought ‘If she can do it, why not me?!’ And so, the trickle down effect started rolling…
But at least her cancer diagnosis and her tragic death at such a young age did give her a fantastic legacy, because it instantly inspired women to go get screened.
It was tragic she died so young, but I remember her for being an awful bully on CBB....it was hard to watch.
The first woman I remember for changing social standards, was a porn actress called Linda Lovelace. First she gained notoriety in a film called Deep Throat, going on to star in other porn films, then she said her husband had coerced her into doing things, she ended up a religious anti porn campaigner. She died in a car accident when in her early 50's.....quite a life.

I couldn’t listen to her for long, her stupidity and ignorance make my toe-nails curl, her mother too.
