At Harvard, white and hispanic students allegedly got 200/400 admission points knocked off their score as opposed to black and hispanic students. It created a lawsuit.
Details of the SFFA Lawsuit
Allegation:
The SFFA lawsuit claimed that Harvard's "holistic" admissions process unfairly discriminated against Asian-American applicants and that race was a factor in their lower admission rates.
Harvard's Position:
Harvard maintained its admissions process considers applicants as a whole person, with diversity being a key factor for preparing students for a diverse society.
Court Findings:
A federal court initially ruled that Harvard's admissions process did not discriminate against Asian-American applicants.
Supreme Court Ruling:
In 2023, the Supreme Court reversed the lower court ruling, finding affirmative action unconstitutional and outlawing the consideration of race in college admissions.
Even though Europe was built on Judeo-Christian values it seems that most now consider Christianity as a far right enterprise whereas Islam is the Religion of Peace embraced by the progressives ... and they consider themselves to be the new moral righteous able to pass judgment on what happens in other nations like the good little colonizers of their predecessors. We live in Orwellian times where double speak makes a nonsense of the English language and we are living in a post truth era.
Seriously, Dawg 🤷🏻♀️ You have a population of circa 340 million. Is this motley bunch of MAGAt halfwitsreally the best the American electorate can come up with to represent them?
It is called Democracy. Are you proposing ending Democracy because the result was not what you consider to be acceptable? It is a small step from imagining half the American electorate as halfwits and maggots to creating something similar to the early 1940s in certain parts of Europe. Maybe history repeats itself but not in a form that those pushing for change recognise but it is staring at them in the mirror.
Yeah, ok…thanks for the civics lesson…..Now, please point out where I’ve called anyone a ‘maggot’?
America is looking less like a democracy with each passing day, because trump is a democracy slayer.
I’m always bemused by a voter who sees and listens to a babbling fool like that congressman, and then decides ‘Yep! That’s the guy who’ll represent my interests best’. And that’s the point I was making.
The current US congress seems to be filled with incompetent, mediocre people, at best, and rabid, neon-god-worshipping MAGA activists, at worst.
You literally described half of the American electorate as MAGAt s which phonetically is equivalent to maggot. There is no other way of interpreting "MAGAt halfwits".
Calling large numbers of people maggots and halfwits is exactly what the NAZI's used to do: maggots and untermensch (inferior people namely halfwits). There is no difference between the thinking exposed in your writing which is characteristic of todays western progressives and the NAZIs of the 1930s early 1940s. There is one group that are the democracy slayers and it is the "progressives". What else would they call themselves? George Orwell saw this. The Ancient Greeks saw this.
… press conference now delayed for another 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, an interesting sequence of events is being reported by CNN. Looks like everything had been happening since at least 12 hours ago. There was a press conference (described as ‘rapid developments‘) which was scheduled for yesterday afternoon. That presser was abruptly postponed.
Kash Patel suddenly hauls his arse over to Utah, to stick his oar in and get involved in how the investigation was evolving.
All of which leads me to believe they could have had a guy in custody last night. And Patel was probably tasked to keep a tight lid on it all, until trump could make it all about trump, and make his big splashy announcement live on Fox News.

Just a hunch… 🤷🏻♀️
The killer's father gave him up. I haven't seen Trump crowing about it. I'm watching the press conference right now.
As for Stephen King, a highly influential writer with millions of followers and fans and he posts a complete untruth that he later removes and apologises for. But you know, too fucking late!
Until recently, I knew little about Charlie Kirk’s widow. Media has now brought her into the spotlight.
And I have to say, she’s an impressive presence in her own right. She’s erudite, charismatic, attractive and supremely confident. She’s too much of a bible-thumper, though, and almost certainly more extreme Right than her late husband.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see her as the obvious shoo-in to replace Charlie as head of Turning Point USA.

Bible thumping seems to be a thing in America.
Of course it is.
Her kids only have one parent. I don't think she risks making them orphans..
Again, I've had a good look at this. Firstly, he doesn't actually say black women are not as intelligent, he names four women who happen to be black - and accuses them of taking white jobs in order to further their careers
I might have missed out on something here, but what on earth is a 'white job'?
Quite Anon. I'm hoping Digs or Maddog can qualify that. What's interesting about this is Kirk was open and proud about believing black people were inferior to white people in many regards so I'm not sure he would thank people for saying he thought otherwise.
This is the exact quote he said on his show that is listed in the articles above.
The four black ladies he refers to including former first lady Michelle Obama
"DO NOT HAVE THE BRAIN PROCESSING POWER TO OTHERWISE BE TAKEN REALLY SERIOUSLY. YOU HAD TO GO STEAL A WHITE PERSON'S SLOT TO GO BE TAKEN SOMEWHAT SERIOUSLY"
Why did he think these black women had a lack of "brain processing power"?? If it wasn't due to their ethnicity why did he say these four black ladies who were far from stupid "stole a WHITE PERSON'S slot"?? If it was due to them lacking intelligence as individuals then he wouldn't have made his whole point about ethnicity.
He didn't hide his thoughts that black people were inferior to white people, this is what makes this rather fruitless. They were his beliefs and he was open about them.

Kudos to his dad and minister (afaik) for turning him in.
I’ve been watching those key board warriors, who celebrated Charlie’s slaughter, being named and shamed…accounts being closed, privatised, apologies being offered, jobs being lost etc. There’s one in particular I’m “following“ who, whilst most were crouching in fear after the gun shot, was almost orgasmic in his jumping for joy. X are on him, I doubt he’ll have an easy future.

I do feel terribly sorry for her. What happened to her husband should not have happened to anyone, regardless of their views.
Kirk was open about believing white people were superior, they were his beliefs and he cited them often on his show. He also stated that those who passed due to gun crime was not a good enough reason to alter gun laws. Sadly the gun laws were made less restrictive only months before his death.
I can understand why people would take great offence to his beliefs regarding race and I certainly do. But there is no excuse for the plethora of tik toks celebrating his death. He leaves behind two young children and ultimately was a family man. I do fear there may be a backlash from the far right against those callously openly relishing his death and the last thing America needs is more violence and hostility.

Not even to mention what happens to Asians.
Before this nonsense was stopped, they were told to identify as anything but Asian.

No excuse, at all. They’re every bit as feral as those pushing the ‘civil war’ narrative (mostly bot farms, I suspect).
I could never get onboard with pretty much anything Charlie Kirk said. His and now his wife’s rhetoric is opportunistic, divisive, and it insidiously resonates with the disaffected youth they deliberately target. It is messaging tailored to give pissed-off kids a sense of ‘belonging’. If Erika Kirk decides to perpetuate her late husband’s legacy, I’m betting she’ll be wildly successful. Girls will want to BE her (kinda like a Taylor Swift thing).
The Kirks epitomise the term ‘Smooth Operator’. I wish the Democrats could find a credible, inspiring presence to offset that!
Not that your words matter, but do you think they are unifying?
When one says "props to Stephen King" what else could he have done once it was certain he was spreading malicious gossip? It is not just Stephen King that rushes out with malicious and inflammatory statements in the absence of VERIFIABLE evidence - major news media organisations do it.
And as we have seen when Charlie Kirk has made statements Progressives interpret / misinterpret those statements wilfully and then double down in the absence of verifiable evidence to the contrary. Now Charlie Kirk is dead he can never return to his statements and clarify what he meant. And even if he was alive and did clarify what he meant the Radical Progressives would say he was lying and trying to cover his ass. It is a sort of game and these tricks are taught in Universities by the activist Professors.

Ah, okay…so my words are Naziesque, according to you.
BIB: Yes, there is. And the fact you can’t envisage that, really isn’t my problem.
FYI: If I ignore you from now on, it‘ll be because I find your opinions too asinine to waste my time responding to you again.
Not that your words matter, but do you think they are unifying?
I'd say you're basically just Blue MAGA..
You’re right. In the grand scheme of things, my words don’t matter. But I’m curious to know who it is I’m supposed to be ‘unifying’ in this context, given that I’m not American and I live in Europe.
Let’s not even bother getting into that bizarre BIB - you’re too much of an energy leech to discuss anything with. But I’m happy for you to think you’re always right about everything. Why change the habit of a lifetime?
