Timothy West, her husband, died less than a year ago.

I loved the canal journeys programme they made together fairly recently.

They are together again. X

Dick Cheney.

Doesn't seem to be a great deal of mourning. The MAGA movement disowned him years ago (and he them) and the Dems loathe him even if he did vote for Kamala..

I'm surprised he made it to 84 with that bad ticker..

He's considered the primary architect of the "war on terror" and the invasion of Iraq.

His daughter stood up to Trump and got obliterated in a primary..

Have to be honest, I thought he was dead.

Brilliant, funny man.  Loved his Xmas shows, we all sat round the tele, laughter wasn't far away, bless him.

Listening to that again today made me a little bit teary-eyed.

He was a looker back in the day - check him out in one of his other hits ‘On the Beach’. Saw him being interviewed just before his passing - couldn’t believe how he had aged and how poorly he looked! Seems the cigarettes got him in the end 😔

He looked unrecognisable from when he was young. Some people look the same just a lot older, Paul McCartney and Mick Jagger for eg, other people change so much, but ill health, which he suffered with from being quite young, certainly takes it's toll.

He seemed like a very lovely man, his music has certainly stood the test of time.

Vam, I can't make out whether that's you or an angel in your avi. lol

😂 @Syl… it’s the result of the rejuvenating, forgiving filters that only AI can give us. The rest is just pure winter wonderland fantasy.

(but yeah, it’s kinda me - about 20 years ago 😂)
