Not surprised in the least. Reared on hatred and violence. A place where someone who murders 7 Jewish kids is treated as a hero upon release.

Too ingrained.

Digger., That's one man. It says it all about one man's plans.

Since the ceasefire 73 Palestine people have been killed including 7 guards. But it's not reported on. I knew about the guards not  the 73 other victims until I heard James OBrien's radio programme.

However, I don't feel going round in circles , you saying "Palestine is worse" ,me saying "Israel is worse" will achieve anything. It has been decided by the IAGS that Israel have commuted genocide. You disagree. You are entitled to  your opinion as I am to mine. But what we obviously both want is peace and the war to stop which hopefully it may do. What Hamas did On October 7th was terrible as was the Israeli military bombing the blameless victims of Palestine, slaughtering many and leaving very little but rubble.

On a serious note, I do not have as much political.knowledge as you Syl,Vam or Barksdale. I'm aware of that. When I said to Madders I don't know the origins of anti semantic views I was being sincere because if someone is Jewish I don't see the issue . It's like "Yes,and?"

I asked someone today where the bigotry for Jews originated from (ok it was my Mother again lol)and she didn't really offer much insight  except they hoard money, keep themselves to themselves and own.businesses and are money lenders Surely that's not it? crazyNone of my generation cared if our friends in school or uni were Jewish, yet I know sadly anti semantic views are held, apparently by the Labour Party.

I know it's off topic but if you or anyone else knows more about what lies behind anti semantic views I would appreciate learning that.

Just been reading that Tommy Robinson has landed in Israel and warmly met.

I wonder if Starmer has had an invite yet? wink

An aside… I’m interested to see if this is labelled as “total rubbish” as my post was.

The funniest video I’ve watched was a bloke claiming he was starving/“famine” vibes, whilst sporting an obese frame, moobs and over hanging gut.

The war in Gaza has stopped — but the killing hasn’t.

Palestinians are scared for their lives as many fear Hamas has no plans to saddle up for “phase two” of President Trump’s peace deal and will continue to slaughter civilians who stand up against the terror group.

“From the first moment the Israeli planes disappeared from the sky, Hamas began punishing the families,” one Gazan activist in the war-torn land told The Post.

“They accused people of collaborating with Israel — but that’s not true. They just opposed Hamas during the war.”

The resident described grisly scenes of men dragged from homes and shot in the street without trials.

“Hamas executed civilians in front of people’s eyes,” said the activist, who asked not to be named for security reasons. “No names, no confessions — nothing. Just death.”

Activist Amin Abed — who fled Gaza after Hamas tortured and nearly beat him to death over his opposition to the Oct. 7, 2023 terror attack on Israel — said the terror group was using the executions as a show of force and has no intentions of relinquishing power or giving up its weapons.

“Hamas is much stronger than any family or civilian group,” Abed said. “They can crush anyone who stands against them. What we’re seeing now is Hamas waging a war against its own people.

He added that most Gazans oppose Hamas and long for peace — but feel powerless.

“We couldn’t stop Oct. 7, and we can’t stop Hamas now,” he said. “The world needs to understand that Gazans are not Hamas. We want peace, not war. But every time we speak out, Hamas kills us first.

“We see Hamas restoring its full strength. They’re everywhere again — as police, as militia, as security,” he said. “We are deeply concerned about the return of Hamas to power and the continuation of the violence under Hamas in Gaza and exposing us again to the same injustice that we experienced for the last 17 years.”

The only “victims of a genocide” who have no interest in a peace deal.” https://x.com/persianjewess/status/1978474675236929640

They never wanted peace, never have nor ever will imo. The pro-pally flags wavers will be pleased.

Why aren't other, more deadly and destructive wars not called genocide?

What makes Gaza different than Syria or Yemen?

For all I know it doesn't

. I know a lot about national politics but global wars? Not so much. I know a lot about the Gaza genocide as broadcasters I listen to explained it at length and it is constantly on the news. What I do.know is Hamas attacked Israel on October 7th not the Palestine people. They too are victims of Hamas as Digger's post below show. Yet the Israeli military and government tried to destroy Gaza, slaughter any Palestinian that remained, ignored Trump 's orders to stop killing and carried on deliberately bombing schools and hospitals. Most of the dead are indeed children. The Israeli military also set fire to.food, aid for the Gaza civilians, shown in my video on the other thread There isn't a war of there is no return fire. One country tried to obliterate another.. So yes they attempted to starve the Palestinian people which was well documented in the media, they wouldn't let the aid trucks through it they destroyed the aid, a smirk on their faces as they did.

What happened in Gaza is actually considered to.be genocide as I explained in the post you scrolled past hellbent on posing a question because you want to "win" . You are incapable of admitting you don't know something  and wrongly believe others are the same. I don't know the details of Yemen and admit it freely  but that doesn't mean that what happened in Gaza isn't genocide . It's just whataboutery Madders and not really relevant when discussing this onslaught.

Sound bites are easy. Discovering the truth is hard. I didn't know the Israeli military has bug*ered up the ceasefire by shooting 7 people because the western narrative supports Israel by labelling the dead people as"suspects" and believing the talk tale of the killers as if the deaths of the Palestinian 's were justified. Can you.imagine if Hamas had casually  decided to slaughter 7 Israeli victims in.The same manner? It would be all over the news framed correctly and Trump would be shouting for bloody vengeance.Total hypocrisy.

Benjamin Netanyahu is a terrorist himself, pretending he has bronchitis in his trial where he is being tried for war crimes. He's either lying to the court or he compromised the health of the released hostages . I think we can safely assume however he's lying to the court. Trump requested he be pardoned for his crimes against humanity, would that be done for any of Hamas?

The feelings of victory in Israel have evaporated after his conduct at Knesset where he continued to attempt to crush the judiciary and 're write history. He did not invite The Chief Justice of the Supreme court as he is required to do by law.

The West supporting a terrorist in the media just because he happens to be a Prime Minister is  a disgrace.

I totally agree with the BIB. Hamas like  Netanyahu won't ever want to.cease killing. The problem.is that the innocent Palestinian civilians who could do nothing about Hamas murderous rampage on October 7th are paying the price and being slaughtered by one and were being bombed to death by the other.

After the initial attack Israel should have targeted Hamas only, possibly with the  help of America, who could have gathered Intel on where they were.Instead they adopted a scorched earth policy which would likely kill the Israeli hostages not find them . It was just an excuse for war criminal  Netanyahu to slaughter as many Palestinians as he could. It's only combat if both sides are fighting. Israeli troops even liked  to kill their own people, but not after stripping them down to their underwear humiliating  them first. The Israeli military cited killing 2000 Hamas militants, when in fact only ten were proved to be Hamas. The others were innocent Palestinian civilians.

Netanyahu acts like Israeli law does not exist. His appalling display at Knesset "laughing it up"with Trump,   not inviting the attorney General and Chief justice of the supreme court which is required by law for any vital.state occasion, but instead bringing his new Director of Domestic Intelligence with extremist views made a mockery of the proceedings and made the Israeli people ashamed. Their journalist's said it has the atmosphere of a circus.

When the Speaker of  the Knesset revealed the hostages pin the on looking families of the deceased felt crushed. Prominent right wing figures were enraged at Benjamin Netanyahu at his self-serving conduct and attempt to re -write history, taking to social media to say so.Now Netanyahu is making a mockery of his war crimes trial pretending to.have bronchitis.

The fact is perception in these matters ARE one sided but not in favour of Palestine. Israel have killed 7 Palestine people after the  ceasefire..nobody cares. It has just been framed in an "acceptable" way by the media. If Hamas killed 7 innocent Israelis there would be no assistance from the western media, Gaza would be a target again. The Israeli military are still holding Palestine children evidently demand their hostages back, is this ever mentioned in.The media?? No. The lives of the Palestine people are cheap, not even worth a headline.

Israeli breaking the ceasefire is detailed in the  below video. It's only 10 minutes. Please watch it.

Israel has the best Intel in the region and went after Hamas.

Where do you think Hamas was hiding? In the well marked Hamas barracks? 🙄

Nothing will save the Gazans, especially now that gas reserves were found there a few years ago. Blackrock, Palantir and co will take it all. The irony is they are snapping up Britain and the US too while the left and right yell at each other. Netanyahu is on record in the 1970s talking to Max Hastings that he would 'wipe them all out' in the next war. Years before Hamas was founded. This is his life's work. The same Hamas that Netanyahu helped fund to thwart a Palestinian state. I would provide the sources from the Israeli press but I don't expect anyone here to believe them. The Epstein kompromat on Clinton, Trump and all the others also helped. Have you ever seen Trump pull out a chair for a world leader the way he does Netanyahu? I don't think he even did that for Putin? Happy to be corrected. Incidentally Digger, you and I share the same love of England's greatest living songwriter. I was happy to see her promoting War Child for the children in Gaza (also Ukraine, Sudan and Syria before she is accused of being an antisemite.) Nothing will save the Gazans, especially now that gas reserves were found there a few years ago. I was happy to see her promoting War Child for the children in Gaza (also Ukraine, Sudan and Syria before she is accused of being an antisemite.)  Little Shrew was intended for all children caught up in war.  I'd like to see more celebs voicing their concern over Sudan, The Congo, Haiti, Yemen, Syria, Cameroon, Nigeria, Mali, Afghanistan.

Children are suffering all over the world.   And do you know what's even worse....  the children exploited so that everyone  can have their  mobile phones, computers, electric cars, your cotton and your chocolate.  Five and six year olds working in cobalt mines.       Where's the stink over that?

So, I'm not going to join the flag waving useful idiots screeching from the river to the sea or run with self righteous, pontificating  herd whose only focus is what's happening in Gaza.

As to the Max Hastings interview there's a reason you won't find it.

A social media post from July 2025 claimed that Hastings interviewed Netanyahu in the 70s, asserting Netanyahu's alleged long-standing strategy for "ethnic cleansing," the primary source (Hastings' own words) only mentions knowing him and strongly disliking his later policies, without explicitly confirming a formal "interview" took place or the exact quote attributed to Netanyahu.

"I met Iddo, Yoni’s second brother, who seemed a gentler and frankly less effectual figure than the others, though thus in some respects a more sympathetic one. He, too, had felt compelled to do his military service not merely in a line infantry unit, but in the Sayeret Matkal. At Bibi Netanyahu’s dinner table in Jerusalem, I listened with crawling dismay to Bibi talking about the future of his country. ‘In the next war, if we do it right we'll have a chance to get all the Arabs out,’ he said. ‘We can clear the West Bank, sort out Jerusalem.’ He joked about the Golani Brigade, the Israeli infantry force in which so many men were North African or Yemenite Jews. ‘They're okay as long as they’re led by white officers.’ He grinned. He and his kin despised what they perceived as the decadence of the West and of Europe, such feeble friends to Israel in her hours of need. " Going to the Wars, Max Hastings. 2001. Page 259. The interview took place in 1977. If you don't believe me the book is available free on Internet archive. https://archive.org/details/goingtowars0000hast/page/259 I agree with you on Congo. My next phone will be a Fairphone - great company. And respect for letting my post through. I wasn't sure if you would.
