Kerry Katona currently whinging about how fame destroyed her. Yawn.
In a harrowing interview with the Daily Mail over the weekend, Kerry Katona revealed how fame too young almost destroyed her, that she overdosed twice on cocaine and has contemplated suicide.
So you'd have thought that mother-of-five Kerry, who is now a millionaire aged 45 after starting a page on the adult site OnlyFans, would do everything in her power to prevent her own three daughters falling into the same trap she claims she so innocently - and catastrophically - did.
Yet a cursory scroll through her 18-year-old daughter Heidi's TikTok account - featuring extremely provocative videos in skimpy outfits - suggests otherwise.
Despite mum Kerry insisting 'fame is actually a f***ed up thing' that caused her self-harming and depression and her cocaine addiction, here she is on TikTok with her daughter - and Katie Price of all women! - cavorting around for Heidi's 17,500 followers. In one video, we see Heidi and her mum seductively dancing to the popular TikTok song Sex With Me, which includes the lines 'sex with me, so amazing'. It's hardly the stuff you'd expect of a teenager.
Kerry claimed in her Daily Mail interview that she fears for her best friend and former glamour model Katie Price - who currently looks like a walking cadaver after all her disastrous relationships, marriages, toy boys, divorces, boob jobs and bankruptcies. Not because of the terrible decisions her reckless friend has made in life, but because Katie was, like her, a victim of life in the spotlight.
But is fame to blame for these women's car-crash lives? Are we really supposed to feel sympathy for these two women who, as young and topless Page Three models, went willingly into that world then, for decades, coined it for all it was worth?
You'd have thought, after her own difficult life filled with trauma and drugs, Kerry would be the ultimate ultra-protective mother - and refuse to expose her daughter to the same path that caused her so much pain and so many regrets.
None of that is reflected in daughter Heidi's social media. In fact, she seems to revel in mum's OnlyFans money - in one video posing beside Kerry's lime-green Lamborghini with the caption: 'Mummy's money.'
In another video, she jokes about Kerry being her 'wallet', adding that her mum 'has never said no' and that the money 'never runs out'.
Is it really healthy for a teenager to boast about sponging off the same wealth and fame that her mother claims has caused her such misery?
It all makes me wonder how emotionally unaware this mother-of-five - to three different husbands - can be. Does she not realise she is setting a terrible example by bragging, as she did in her interview, that her OnlyFans page now means she can send her five kids to private school?
I can only imagine the humiliation her children might feel at being dropped off at their posh private school, with all their friends knowing what their mum does for 'work'.

It never fails to amaze me how these vacuous 'celebrities' court fame and fortune then cry when it all goes tits up, literally. Aging popstars and page three girls with not much between the ears and no discernible talent opting to sell minge and soul on Only Fans while having us all believe they're the victims?

Car crash 'celebrities', they have no talent to fall back on, so use the only thing they have that sells...sex appeal, and when that dries up, they have nothing. From what I remember, Kerry Katona had a terrible childhood, so she did actually do well to get into a girl group early on, unfortunately her drug fuelled lifestyle overshadowed what early success she had. I remember one interview years ago on morning TV. She was so out of it she was slurring her words and looking so dazed, even Philip Schofield asked her if she was OK...she was unaware of how she was talking and acting.
Katy Price is mentally ill, I actually feel sorry for her in a way, her life is out of control, not helped by the many men who have screwed her, both physically and financially.
Imo, the late Jade Goody was the catalyst for late teens and twenty-somethings to crave instant ‘celebrity’, despite their lack of any discernible talents.
People of mediocre intellect (at best!) saw Jade Goody quickly achieve fame and fortune, and thought “If she can do it, why not me?”. Many did manage to get there, only to then mindlessly fritter it all away either by pouring it down their necks and/or siphoning it up their noses.
Many of them got too much, too soon. And for many of those, too much is never enough.
The craving for ’instant celebrity’ trend has now evolved into talentless kids who desperately aspire to be social media Influencers as a means to make a quick buck, with little effort.

Katie Price is addicted to herself and attention. She's a narcissistic self absorbed nightmare. All the animals she's ever owned have ended up dead. She'll end up like Pete Burns. She's even starting to look like him.

I agree, and some do make it now with zero talent, thanks to social media.
Fame can be the downfall of people even when they do have talent, and I think some who reach the top can't bear it when younger and better people come along, they always want to be the best, sometimes with pretty horrible results.

Thankfully, their fame has escaped me.
I don't know these people. She has nice tits though..😉
To add....it's a common thing in women who are known for their beauty...and sadly, even some who are not. When the youthful beauty they had fades, instead of accepting the beauty that maturity brings, they desperately try to hang on to their younger sexy selves, and the clothes get tighter and lower, the breasts get pumped up, and they look like caricatures of what they were. Nowadays, the pics get photoshopped beyond recognition, everything is about what other people see, not what they truly are....it's sad imo.

Leave Dolly Parton out of this. 😉
Dolly does it with humour though, like she has always said ...'it costs a lot of money to look this cheap'.
Beyonce was a lovely looking woman, now she looks ridiculous.

She's a fine and decent person but a bit of contradiction. Simple and humble while flashy and fake at then same time..
She has worked her boobs her entire career. I don't see any shallowness in acknowledging that those assets have helped her become quite a success yet a humble role model for people everywhere..
