Did anyone else think last night’s match was a bit of a snoozefest? 🥱
I kept saying to my tele “Allez les Bleus - REVEILLEZ-VOUS!!”
But I didn’t know how to say “Come on the Reds - WAKE UP!!” in Arabic 😉
Yes, hub went to bed half time. I thought France was supposed to be good, nah.
Glad it’s not just me, Mags That match reminded me why I don’t usually watch much football.
France eventually roused themselves to do just enough to get them through to the semis.
My personal opinion is that it all seemed disrespectful to their fans, most of which probably near-on bankrupted themselves to travel to the States to support France 🤷🏻♀️

It looked like Morocco had no interest in winning and had resigned themselves to the loss. There's also no real excitement about France winning as it is expected and the vibe is off.
Much as I would love for England to win tomorrow I wouldn't mind if Norway did. That way there will still be an underdog to root for and if the semi-finals were the 4 favourites going into the tournament: Argentina, Spain, France and England that would be a bit underwhelming.
I actually don't mind who lifts the cup as long as it isn't Argentina.
I had the same thought earlier today. Obviously, I’m still rooting for an England win.
But if it can’t be England, then please, @Football Gods, let it be Norway!! 🙏🏼 They’re the only other team worthy of lifting that Cup, imo.

The World Cup is a marathon and if you can cruise through a game you do just that. It's not exciting for the fans but it's tactically the smart thing to do.
While it's unlikely, I'd like to see the Swiss beat the Argentinians. Ive heard nothing about that team, or their fans, which is kind of like how that country operates in most matters.
Quiet, to themselves and neutral..
They are the most non American like westerners on the planet. 😉
I did feel sorry for the Belgian substitute goalie too - he was only in place for a couple of minutes (I think), before that ball flew at him. But maybe there should have been some more defenders around, to try and assist? 🤷🏻♀️
The 2 teams that have consistently been tipped to win will face off on Tuesday. So that’s one ‘favourite’ who’ll be packing their bags. If I had to guess, I’d say France probably have the edge. Spain are still a very daunting team for sure, but they seem to have gone off the boil a bit compared to how I’ve seen them play in other tournaments - much less ‘wow!’ in their game this time around.

I have a big do to go to tomorrow. It starts quite late in the afternoon and, knowing the person who’s hosting it, it’ll probably drag out until goodness knows when.
Not for me though I’ll be home, showered, and on my couch by 10.30pm (Spanish time). For once, I’m glad to be one hour ahead of BST.
Enjoy the game, everyone!
