Haaland plays for Man City but there are rumours he will leave to go to Spain. Funnily, enough the English player he pushed (Elliot Anderson) has now also joined City so they will be team mates when the Premier League starts next month. 

I feel a bit sorry for Haaland. He would have got away with that push in the Premier League as the foul occurred before the corner was taken, and was a dead ball situation. VAR would not have reviewed it. FIFA changed the rules for the World Cup this year to allow VAR to review fouls before the ball is kicked in set pieces. Instinct may have kicked in during the game and he thought it would be a similar outcome to a Premier League game.

Bizarrely, France were shite 🤷🏻‍♀️ Simple as that. In fact, I was lip reading their manager - he must have said “Merde!!” (shit!!) half a dozen times.

 I imagine winning the whole shebang would cast a glow over the entire country for a few weeks. Same as in England. The French would probably still be miserable,  lol..

While we didn't win it, and most folks who know the game knew there was little chance of that, we have enjoyed hosting it..

We may not be soccer fans but we are fans of soccer fans and the energy they brought..

Strange team selection by Deschamps - he played his 4 man attack from the start and left himself short in the engine room, allowing Spain to dominate the midfield.

Then when he needed goals, he had no one to turn to on the bench, because his 4 best attackers were already playing! Pretty poor stuff to be putting all your eggs in one basket in a WC semi-final.

Should resign or be sacked imo.

 Argentina fouled their way through the first half, we played brilliantly, but no goals.
