Dawg: 75% of Americans don't know what offside is in soccer..But we know how to put on an event ......👍

nod Hard to disagree with that. That stadium venue in Boston is amazing. But then again, I loved Boston and its people so I’m not surprised they ended up adopting the Scottish fans 😂

I‘m glad a lot of the doom and gloom predictions about hotel bookings being down or cancelled/fans being too scared to travel to the US/the menacing presence of ICE agents, etc, mostly turned out not to be the case. Folks from across the globe and from all walks of life are being warmly welcomed, and most people are having a blast.

 Think they should still make the R32 as one of the top placed 3rd place finishers though. FIFA have changed the rules for this WC so that ties are decided by head to head finishes before goal difference.

They will be in your country for a while yet.

The vibes are elite TBF.

I mentioned before about the England fans singing Wonderwall to the team after the Croatia game and watching that live will stay with me for a long time. 

Also American fans discovering Erling Haaland is brilliant. To think he could have played for England as he was born in Leeds!

So I went out last night to see how the crowds were. The English basically took over this bar Thursday but there were maybe a dozen in there last night. I guess they are off to Boston. There were some Argentinians in there. One dude looked like Fabio and some of the local "gauchas" seemed impressed. 😉

Here is a video of Arthur doing his part for international relations. I don't know if this girl is Brazilian as they are playing 1200 miles away.

And, what's with what we call "man purses"? Is that an everyday thing or just for travel? The English men all seem to wear shorts. I'm wondering are there not adequate pockets? Is it to prevent pick pocketers?

 The news and the internet have a lot to do with what  people  think about the US. Also, I think footie fans are the kind of people that match our national vibe. They are here to have fun, not go to museums or discuss transgender issues..

A Ghanaian witch doctor has put a curse on Harry Kane prior to the England V Ghana game on Tuesday.

He claims to have previously caused Ronaldo to have a knee injury in an earlier WC, and is currently working on a similar injury for Kane.
