Well, Andy Burnham has just completed his fist PMQ...I thought he was really impressive.
His message that he wants to work with other parties rather than against them is loud and clear. I'm not sure, given some of the dirty tricks in politics that will always be possible, but we shall see.
He also answers direct questions directly if he can...quite an unusual trait in politics nowadays.

 It is refreshing to see -  I think it's a combo of AB being a good communicator in his own right,  and also following on from the worst PM in history, so whoever came next was always going to come across well. Like the Rolling Stones coming on after Mr Blobby.

It's still the honeymoon period though and he hasn't really done anything unpopular or controversial yet, and it will be interesting to see how he copes when that happens.

I thought there was a bit of a spark and some mutual admiration with Kemi going on, so that could be interesting as well.

I like her, in spite of her being a Conservative. wink

 

I sensed a bit of mutual respect, I can see some good exchanges between them happening in the future. They both have a sense of humour, that's for sure.

 

I love your analogy of the Stones coming on after Mr Blobby.lol
