I think this kind of explains it. He was out of control, but he wasn't really hiding it. He was famous for it in a time that accepted it..
Much like the rock star/groupie mentality that predated it..
Normal people have never accepted rape ans sexual assault. The BBC, have form for covering it up though...and he was working thre when 2 of the assaults took place.
He wasn't hiding it because he was being shielded by his staff, (obviously not the ones he wasn't sexually assaulting) and no doubt the people he was making money for.
What he and Jonathan Ross did to Andrew Sachs was fucking unforgivable. I'll never forget that. I've loathed the pair of them ever since.
I don't care how star struck the girl was or what she agreed to do beforehand...once she says no or stop and he ignores her and overpowers her, it's rape...pure and simple.
The average sentence for rape here is reported to be 10 years, I doubt that, but going by those figures, that's what he should get...as other women come forward, if he is charged and found guilty, they should also get justice.

It is rape. But its not like some poor girl who has drugged or taken advantage of.
This reminds me more of some of the playmates that lived with Hefner at his mansion, complaining about what happened there. Did they think he was going to lead Bible study?
It makes women look stupid when they put themselves in positions with people like Brand or Hefner, then act shocked when they act like they Brand and Hefner..
